But don't you see, women have the right to men. And if a man can fulfill his sexual desire through pornography that's one more man that has an alternative.

The idea is to make pornography insufferable so that people don't consume it.

I'm sure there would be several categories addressing the diversity of "feminists".

the more conservative & religious a woman is, the hornier she is, albeit secretive...

    Well... Even that exists.

Asians, Latinos, black, interracial. Phonography is the most diverse thing there is. Transgender people are even over represented in pornography. I don't know how you make it more diverse.

That's not a bad thing I can get how being reserved and only letting one person see your inner most self is attractive.

I just think feminist porn like all other feminist things will just be something that nobody likes.

And the only consumption will be by betas trying to get with feminists, or something people will pretend to like as a virtue signal.

    Exactly!

Their real complaint is that nobody likes what they want.

I don't even think that they want it. If you ever see them practice of feminism they aren't enjoying it. They always have this sour grimace in their face.

Maybe they're just miserable and want everyone else to be miserable with them.

Well, that is a common characteristic for sure, but I don't think that's porn-specific.

I'm always amused how some feminists have the same disgust for sex that some old catholic folks.

I'm not talking about specifically with porn. It's everything. Feminist poetry sucks, feminist comedy not funny, feminist art is not beautiful.

I honestly think these people are misanthropes. They don't know how to be happy so they don't want anybody else to be either.

They're extremely self-centered people. If there's something out there that I don't enjoy or particularly care for it doesn't bother me that other people enjoy it. But then again I can be happy.

So I'm wondering if that's what it's all about.

If I think about it too much I almost start to pity them.

But then I remember they want to remove Joy from the world.

Misanthrope is a very succinct description.

From reading your post I realize that it would be very helpful to educate teens about the inaccuracies of porn. The sex on tv is actually more female oriented in my opinion. Many of these scenes are in female-dominated shows about romance and relationships and shows heaping amounts of romantic cliches with the sex. But porn is seen a lot more often than a few sex scenes on tv.

Disgust is all in eye of the beholder . Porn is bad in a lot of ways, but good in other ways. Depends on the person and the porn in my opinion.

I do not think it is good in any way at all. Neither for individual nor for society. I also think there is a strong link between early exposure to sex in childhood and likelihood of seeking out a career in the porn business.

But, yes; as any other drug it depends a lot on the consumer.

Here is one reason porn is so popular. The main attacks are from religious folks. They call it perverse, disgusting, unfaithful, and immoral. But what this really means is that they find the dark heightened sexuality in porn these things, and only increases porn's dark, perverse, and sexual appeal. Men are inherently sexual and our sex drive has a dark side. These attacks on porn only make it more appealing by making it sensually sinful and forbidden.

We also see some exaggerated attacks on porn that are easy to refute. Like more people will be the porn business, or mass murders inspired by porn, or other extreme edge cases. Problem is that most guys know these attacks are ridiculous and don't apply to 99.9% of people. So they see attacks on porn as flimsy flailing of overly pious religious people with boring lives who are afraid of sexuality.

The best way to attacks on porn is to present real credible arguments for the harms of porn that actually matter to people. Like desentizing people to real sex, hurting sex life, sex performance, less drive to flirt with real women. Or over-masturbation making men lazy and less ambitious. Giving men a false impression of women's bodies and sex. Hurting marriages with the secret use of porn and the porn hurting relationships by hurting sex life. Or a sad coping mechanism for men with trouble finding a woman, or having a good sex life, but it only makes these problems worse, and the real solution is to fix their problems.

Pornography goes back almost as far as written records and some of it has made it into classical literature like the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer. You are right that the theists condemn it while forgetting that there are parts of their Holy Bible that are pornographic in content. There are aspects of porn that are harmless and in some instance helpful for couples looking to add some zest to their sex life so it is far from being all negative and not necessarily always a problem. As with all things taken to excess it becomes harmful but used in moderation by consenting adults it is probably no worse than any of the other things that people are free to indulge in the privacy of their own dwellings.

    Sure.

Linking to the one poll I was talking about certainly rebutted my comment that you were comparing one poll to decades of research on the subject.

    Well done.

Did you MISS the part about the DECADES BETWEEN the two polls?

Obviously you must have or you would not have made such a vacuous comment!

Then again why should anyone expect your content style to ever be anything different?

No, I didn't miss you comparing one poll done by a TV network against numerous other studies that found the opposite conclusion.
