But you will argue against the correspondence between evolution and the Genesis genealogy simply because you are really motivated to oppose the bible either way:

If you were concerned with your hypothesis, you would defend the inconsistencies with what you call correspondences.

some people will never admit to the obvious correspondences and waste efforts to show them.

I have had foolish people insist that the dimensions to scale of the ark described in Genesis 6 are not close enough to the dimensions of the human nervous system because the fit would require using the extreme numbers in the range variations possible.

I have had people say the paleontologists are wrong the call Australophiticus and Homo humans since technically they are hominids.

I have had skeptics say the three racial stocks of Ham, Japheth, and Shem ought be excluded from the list of 22 because they are actually one species, but they are included in my sketch because they replace three in the book which the authors eliminate by questioning their inclusion.

The corr4pondence with the extinction by flood in Genesis, though, is hard to deny, in that, there was a total mass extinction when Modern man spread over all globe.

And, its hard to deny that a Noah-like ancestor existed since genetic evidence exists that all men today had one common father pretty analogous to the Genesis metaphor.

Then we have uncanny claim that inbreeding between species of hominids took place in Genesis 6:4, verified today, genetically, by finding we carry Neanderthal genes ourselves.

The one cravat we make to see this correspondence is the year in the lives of these species and 40 days mentioned are actually thousands of years.
That seems reasonable, in that the story could not have stated this until we knew enough to believe that was possible.

Then, the nail in the coffin, Genesis 5:2 tells us Adam was not an individual, but a species or kind of man:

Gen 5:2 Male and female created he THEM; and blessed THEM, and called THEIR name Adam, (a species), in the day when THEY were created.
