If Pappy was wired, Trump (and his cronies) are going to have a nervous breakdown.

Wasn't this guy a low-level, fringe volunteer? And he committed no underlying crime. His only crime was lying to the FBI.

The left tries to portray him as Trump's top assistant. Hilarious.

The Trump cult is becoming increasingly strident in telling themselves their messiah is glorious.

Most Americans prefer a realistic assessment.

Trump's foreign policy adviser, whom he described as "excellent", is cooperating with "the left" in the form of the Trump Justice Department's Republican Special Counsel.

New boogie men and new lies are now desperately needed.

Donald Trump Jr got a lesson in sharing from social media on Tuesday, after tweeting a picture of his daughter Chloe with her Halloween candy haul, and threatening to take half of it away to “teach her about socialism”.

Soooo gullible, "collusion" isn't a crime and I see no evidence that ANY of the rest of your list that has occurred here.

"So legally it’s not enough for an associate of the president to work together with a Russian—the American would need to work with a Russian to commit a crime,"

    Like I said.

Hillary won every poll, lost the election.
Trump lose every poll and won the election.

No wonder you like poll results and hate election results!

Well that post didn't age well!

NOT LIVING UP TO THE HYPE: In Mueller memo, Papadopoulos emerges as bit player in Trump-Russia affair.

Since the surprise announcement of his indictment and guilty plea on Oct. 30, 2017, the short-term, volunteer Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos has often been described as a central figure in the Trump-Russia affair. Now, a new court filing from special counsel Robert Mueller suggests Papadopoulos was a bit player all along.

Mueller never charged Papadopoulos with any crime involving a conspiracy, or collusion, between the Trump campaign and Russia to fix the 2016 election. Instead, Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to one count of lying to the FBI. He is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 7.

In preparation, Mueller’s office on Friday submitted a memorandum to U.S. District Court in Washington outlining the special counsel’s position on sentencing. Although Mueller is adamant that Papadopoulos serve some time in jail — the range for the offense is between zero and six months — the special counsel suggested the final sentence should be just 30 days. As justification, Mueller cited the 30-day sentence given to Alex van der Zwaan, one of the small-time figures caught up in the Trump-Russia probe.

It wasn’t the stuff of a “conspiracy against the United States” that Mueller cheerleaders like to cite, nor even of a significant player in the Trump-Russia matter.

    Underwhelming.

I think Manafort's lawyers already have a deal with Guiliani to clam up and he will recieve a pardon by January 2021. If Manafort is pleads guilty or is convicted, the Feds won't match that deal unless Manafort has some real solid evidence against Trump. My bet is that Pauly will remain mute here and wait for Trump to pardon. However, if Mueller writes a report with enough evidence of wrongndoing that the GOP controlled congress will move to impeach before Trump can spring him, he's screwed. Should be interesting at any rate.

How? Manafort has been in solitary, treated like he's a violent criminal. Meanwhile, Fake News leftidiots take turns bemoaning the arrest of an illegal WANTED FOR MURDER, and a leftidiot judge releases the New Mexico Kid Killer Trainers out with no bail.

There was no hyper in my post. If you read my post it was open and I did not make any accusations nor did use emotional defense as many Trump supporters do. What is hyper is your response which is an exaggerated missive against my post.

Did you ever notice that I have always maintained that the connection to Russia is very much with someone or some people on staff or campaign and not directly with Trump himself.

Really? I don't recall anybody saying Papa was all that much... he was approached as a useful idiot and he barely handled that level of responsibility. As no time was anybody saying Papa was the mastermind of Russian/Trump connections.

However, Mueller's filing says repeatedly that Papa lied many times to the FBI during his interviews, some of which might have allowed Misfud to escape the US (apparently for good).

    SNIP
With the intent of harming the investigation, Papadopoulos “repeatedly lied throughout the interview in order to conceal the timing and significance of information the defendant had received regarding the Russians possessing ‘dirt’ on Hillary Clinton, as well as his own outreach to Russia on behalf of the campaign,” they explained. He also “hindered the government’s ability to discover who else may have known or been told about the Russians possessing ‘dirt’ on Clinton” — as in who else on the Trump campaign.

One of the contacts that Papadopoulos misled investigators about communicating with was Joseph Mifsud, a Kremlin-linked professor in London who allegedly reached out to Papadopoulos on behalf of Russia. Mueller’s team claimed on Friday that those lies “undermined investigators’ ability to challenge the professor or potentially detain or arrest him while he was still in the United States,” noting that “the professor” left the U.S. a few weeks after Papadopoulos’s first voluntary interview, and hasn’t returned since.
    ENDSNIP

I'm a little surprised Mueller isn't asking for more than 6 months, since Papa didn't really cooperate with the investigation. Seems like a sweetheart deal like Gates got... Mueller needs to get a little tougher on his 'cooperating' witnesses, IMHO...
