No more fitting example than Bad Actor Robert DeNiro who built a career
by playing Bad Guys.Starting with - Bloody Mama - { 1970 } as one of
Ma Barker's sons then onto - Mean Streets - { 1973 } as Johnny Boy,
    a street hustler and Mafia wanabee.Then - Taxi Driver - { 1976 } as
Travis,a cabbie who needs to vent some inner rage.
Before going full hog Bad Actor as in - Goodfellas - { 1990 } then
    - Cape Fear - { 1991 } as the very scary Max Cady .Mr. De Niro manages to
mix it up.Playing a potpourri of genre.Sometimes as Priest to great effect
as in - True Confessions - { 1981 } as an important Parish priest groomed
    next in line to be a Bishop.Or Arch-Bishop.Then - Sleepers - { 1996 } as
Father Bobby trying to keep the neighborhood and the hoodlums from
    ending up in prison.
    But the real zinger is the true life story of Tobias Wolff - This Boy's Life - { 1993 }
where a somewhat mannered { makes sure to light a woman's cigarette } single man
is really a Sadist and bully. We slowly see the progression as he literally
sweet talks his way into the arms and affections of a feisty Divorcee and
her son entering his troubled teen years. This may indeed be the real
Bobby De Niro.No one knows for sure but 5 will getcha 10 he ain't
even close to the Priests he's played or his wacky comedies.
Maybe Hollywood { who indubitably own his career } are tickled
pink to use him as Spokesman for all Things Trump Hating.
No other actor or person on Earth has the balls or seething gamesmanship
to call out Trump with such vitriol.De Niro needs to keep in
mind this sort of thing is now part of his Film Resume. That outside his
movie roles he engaged in a campaign to not just name call and smear
a sitting president but come eerily close to Sedition. The act of speech and
rhetoric in an attempt to incite people to rebel against authority.
I know of no other major Film star in the history of Film who ever went
off the rails in their hatred of a President, like Father Bobby has.
Acting at times like Max Cady and other times like Leonardo DiCaprio's
step-father { Dwight } a closet sadist and reckless boozer.
Who revels in the ways he can torment his step-son.
So when Life Imitates Art it may be more a case of Art Imitating Life,
as Oscar Wilde wrote. Most often when a major film star is off stage
and out of the lights, they tend to lead rather platonic existences.
In order to maintain goodwill and further their career.
But Robert De Niro has chosen an entirely different path.
Not Imitating Art or life.Merely his true self.Which is both a can of worms
and arch-villain of notoriety. Not for Fame or Glory.
But apparently to prove how he's nailed his most original character.
That of a Mag Dog Coll.A fitting combination of Johnny Boy and
    also Irishman James Conway - Goodfellas - { 1990 }.
With more than a wink and a nod of Dwight - This Boy's Life -
    lurking.

Then Oscar Wilde was off the mark.
" All art is quite useless " - { The Picture of Dorian Gray } 1891
" Music is the art ... which most completely realizes the artistic idea,
and is the condition to which all the other arts are constantly aspiring ".
    { The English Renaissance of Art }
Keeping in mind ... " All great ideas are dangerous. "

    I like that.

Seen in muted light, felt in vibration
These pigmented visions painting life, creating emotional strokes
    You say it is art
    I call it stagnation...of mind
Imagined experience as pleasant as real
Tasting as good as you feel, surreal
Music is such and sounds like touch
Yet my words are my red, my blues
All thing beautiful are the result of what we use.

People are obsessed with celebrities. These are nothing but con artists, many are the pretty type, but still con artists. They are professional liars, and many are massive hypocrites.
Professing to hate firearms, but have no problem portraying someone that uses them on screen, all because of greed. They want to make money, they are true capitalists... Betraying their personal belifs for money. Matt Damon, Been Affleck, Liam Neeson, Robert Deniro and a list too long to post here have all made millions portraying action figures with a guns. Hypocrites all. Rosie O'Donnell has her kids protected by bodygaurds with guns, yet you and I (the peons) should not have that right. There will come a time, and soon I hope, where CGI will eliminate these pompous a$$es.

CGIs will definitely not be as obnoxious or give political advice.

    " Win the Crowd " - Gladiator - { 2000 }
was the advice Proximo gave to Maximus as he entered the
Colossem for his first big match.
Basically that is what is required of a thespian.
Or especially a Candidate wanting to be President.
He is required to win over votes.Meaning The masses.
But then De Niro understands all that.Especially those
Hollywood Jewish who run tinsel town.
The Art of a man who has such difficulty comprehending that
should be investigated.Maybe it's De Niro's lack of a college education.
Or even attending some Performing Arts classes.
Whatever the cause of Robert De Niro's apparent lack of
class and manners and true professionalism may end up
    a case study in self-reflection.
Keeping in mind that President Trump " has small hands ? ".
    Unlike De Niro's - Raging Bull - { 1985 } characterization of
Jake La Motta.? Where he made a big display about HIS
small hands ... " I got these small hands.A little girls hands. "
as his manager Brother says ... So what so Do I
It means I won't ever be a Heavyweight.
You got that right ... Brother ...
When Life and Art meet in the ring .
    " When you win,you win.If you lose,
you still Win " -- La Motta
A Picture of Darian Gray ... Revisited.

    Life and Art meet again.
