Normally when I see one of these kinds of threads, involving alleged criminal conduct, the first thing I do before I even click on it is ask myself about the possible agenda of the author. If there is a mention of a gun, or the race or religion of the perpetrator, I look at the name of the creator of the thread, and take an educated guess. I am usually right.

If the crime is incredibly bizarre or amusing its most likely posted for clear entertainment purposes.

If it involves sexual assault, rape or molestation, my first guess involves a political agenda involving sex, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity. Somebody based in one of these categories is going to be smeared with a broad brush, often the name of the thread creator will give me a clear idea of which minority group is the likely perp or victim. I am almost never surprised when I click on the link.

I guessed this high school teacher was undoubtedly black( with a white victim), illegal alien of hispanic descent, gay, or transgender before I entered this thread, because the demographic grouping is what made this 'thread-worthy', not the alleged criminal conduct. This is something that posters of a given political persuasion should be thinking about and break the pattern and pick some white hetero protestant cisgender male as a perp just to switch up. The family wouldn't make a such a story up if they claim that there is text evidence to corroborate it. Plus official police report has been filed.

The problem you have though, is that the sexualization of children is something a lot of schools are trying to normalize.

If we had heterosexuals putting pornographic books in kid's libraries, trying to paint pedophiles as victims, and hiring the hottest female strippers they could find to take their clothes off in front of kids, I, for one, would be just as against that as what is being done here.

You totally missed my 'sentiment'. I did not ask myself if the story was factually accurate. My point was not about veracity. It was that I was pretty damn sure the perpetrator would be gay or trans, or an illegal alien, or some other member of a marginalized, or frequently demonized minority around here, before I ever clicked on your thread, despite the fact that statistically it ought not be likely. Well one of the sources of the pictures says the library introduced a dress code after the incident. So it seems that it was an awkward situation that led to a change. I don't live in an ultraliberal area, so I have no idea why drag queens or trannies would be used for reading, but I don't think it's sexual grooming of any kind - unless you consider "accepting people who are weird" as grooming.

 

I doubt there is any other sub-group who are demonized more than them. Calling them perverts, mentally disturbed and abominations is pretty much everyday stuff.

Nope. I've heard them being called f@£ like more than 10 years ago in middle school or high-school. But that was never to their face and always behind their backs. Aside that, ive not heard anything of that sort recently.
