I am partly bringing all this up because an American living in Japan has a plan that I personally consider to be quite brilliant. Basically, Mr. Sigmund Ivarsson is proposing a nine meter wide tunnel from out in the Mediterranean Sea near Tel Aviv to somewhere in the Jordan valley. This tunnel could take somewhere around two hundred MILLION CUBIC METERS of ocean water from the Mediterranean Sea to the Dead Sea annually and graphene screens now make it possible to screen most of the salt out of that water even before it flows down the tunnel or tunnels. Because the seventy km long tunnel will descend more than 1200 feet below sea level it is possible to branch the tunnel off into something like an upside down menorah shape and there could be seven to twenty one hydro - electric generation facilities along the tunnel or tunnels? This project would cause a boom in Jordanian and P. A. agriculture and would almost certainly be rejected by the Israeli Knesset UNLESS....... the government of Jordan were to put pressure on the Islamic Waqf to allow the Orthodox Jewish SanHedrin to rebuild their Jerusalem Third Temple. The SanHedrin has such a high level of influence over the Israeli Knesset that they could likely force the Knesset to agree to the project......... in spite of the fact that it would scare officials in the I.
