There's no way of proving my theory but perhaps someday there will be some figures to support it or deny it. I'm guessing there's a high percentage of non-vaxxers that get their information from Facebook and other social medial outlets compared to the vaxxers and non trumpers who know that social media is the last place to hear the truth.

 

I think you have a good point. Social media is just that: SOCIAL media........ and not scientific fact based information. It is a petri dish for misinformation...........and those that get their information from that source are being misled...........and b y choice.

The issueis that theyoung are very suggestible .......as their brains and attitudes are being formed ......... so when they become "addicted" to social media............ they become vulnerable to the influences that come at them.. Some Of these influences come at them via the targeted ads.

I don’t allow my kids to have a FB account. I myself have not had one for going on 4 years now and was way better off after I left.

 

Everyone uses that platform as a choice.
And today, FB is for those over 35. There's so many other platforms for those under 35.

It still comes down to the parents knowing what is going on in their kids life. If that's what this is about, the youth?

I realize I'll probably be cancelled for this but I can't for the life of me see what Facebook did wrong A corporation has what is called a fiduciary obligation to act in its SHAREHOLDER'S best interests, NOT the country's, or humanity's or anyone's BUT the fiduciary's. And the fiduciary can sue if they perceive this duty is not being met
And were I Herr Zuckerberg I would respond to this by erasing ALL political info and announcing a new rule requiring an instant permaban for ANY sort of political discussion of any sort whatsoever. Zuckerberg made several billions by archiving lunches, he could easily do so again.
