Lets hope its not true or it could be used as the excuse Russia needed to enter Ukraine just as the Bush used the argument that WMD existed in Iraq when we, the USA, entered and destroyed their country.

 

Who dafuq is ASB News, and why are they any more trustworthy than day-old gas station sushi?

 

Even if it were true the response isn’t unilateral invasion. And don’t you think they’d have mentioned this sooner?

 

And publicly lodging a formal complaint before the UN against Ukraine for allegedly breaching of the Convention on Biological Warfare (to which Ukraine is signatory BTW) wasn't considered a viable option at the time why?

 

I think it is safe to assume nothing coming out of Russia is truthful.

Let's be clear.
For the past 30 years Ukraine has been part of EUROPE.
are you accusing Europe of developing biological weapons?
Are you actually supporting Putin's propaganda?

 

The truth has nothing to be afraid of. If this information is false, which I'm sure it most likely is, then you dispell these claims by bringing them to light. Hiding them away and attacking anyone who brings them up will only have the opposite effect. It will make people speculate and wonder and if no one is really willing to talk about it honestly then that is what is going to be what weakens America.

As for me, I'm curious as to what does bombing innocent people's homes have to do with a lab creating anthrax? That's all you really have to do is point to those homes and lives destroyed by Putin's invasion as proof against this claim. You don't "tut tut" it away and try to keep people from talking about it. That's just unrealistic.

You would think if creating something insanely deadly in a lab was all that horrific to the Russians they might have dropped a bomb or two on Wuhan.

 

Putin isn't interested in declaring war because of the location of labs producing biological weapons.
If it did, Russia would have bombed people living near Porton Down in the UK.
As for Russia's aversion to labs developing bio warfare, ISTM it leads the way in not just developing it but using it in the West. It even has a Russian name...Novichok.

 

I'm saying that if you have proof of deadly toxins and viruses being made then it would make no sense to bomb civilian apartments killing innocent people. You use this to point out the flaw in the defense Putin is trying to make.

 

So are you suggesting bombing the facility fully stocked with trials and examples of some of the deadliest viruses in creation?
I would think anyone would use the defence of NOT attacking anywhere near such a facility would be more convincing.

In my opinion, its mostly false. Putin first claimed that it was a select group of "nazis" who were the problem and that most Ukrainians would welcome him in open arms. Well that was not true.

Then he claimed that NATO was actively pursuing Ukraine to join NATO and violated the accords agreed with. Well, that;s not true either.

So, now this. If there was any evidence, Russia has 10 or so friends on the IAEA committee that would have brought up the vote for investigations into the matter and publicly humiliated both Ukraine and the United States publicly. Well, that didn't happen either.
