I dont know why God does things a certain way. God doesnt owe us answers to our questions and our lack of understanding on some things doesn't cancel out the things God has clearly revealed.

I believe that DNA is shared because we all are life.

The probability that any one person could fulfill just eight of the prophecies that Christ fulfilled is 1 in 10 to the seventeenth power. That's a hundred quadrillion to the eighteenth power.

The writings on the papyri match the description of what happened in Exodus in the bible.

I've read many stupid things on internet forums but this is utterly stupid, to the 17th power.

Why? Micah 5 2, Genesis 49 10. Isaiah 11 1. Isaiah 53 8, 9, 12. the book of daniel was five hundred years before the birth of Christ. It predicts the exact year that Jesus would die.

    daniel 9 20-27.

Only Jesus fullfilled all the prophecies about the Jewish Messiah.

Did your imaginary god "reveal" why he made such crappy DNA that infants are born with congenital deformaties?

Argument from incredulity fallacy since there is no evidence that anyone "fulfilled" any "prophecies".

Those that support science have put their faith into believing scientists.

So when you knock over your beer it is your god that makes it fall to the ground because that is what you believe in?

No, I believe that those that support science have put their faith into believing scientists.

I'm agnostic so I'm interested in knowing what fallacies and superstitions you have assessed I believe in from a couple of posts!!

Ok, do you repeat the scientific experiments or do you just believe the scientists?

    This is tricky.

Did you repeat the religious experiences that failed which is why you became an agnostic?

Like most people I was taught science at school by having to replicate the experiments to validate the results for myself.

That learning experience resulted in my becoming interested in science and I have continued to study it out of interest and curiosity. I have made a point of trying to share the learning experience with others, including those who are not orientated towards the sciences, during my life. It has been a rewarding experience to learn new things about our natural universe.

Did you never have the opportunity to replicate any scientific experiments for yourself?

I didn't undertake religious experiences or scientific experiments, hence why I'm agnostic.

Do you faith in the God particle? I'm sure you replicated that experiment in your kitchen. Does that particle exist? The scientists say it does.

You can't prove God exists and doesn't exist. I keep an open mind, I don't pile my faith over to one side. Knocking a beer over doesn't answer the existence of the universe.

The Higgs Boson is not the "god particle", it is the "******n particle" because it took so long to find. This is an example of one of the great things about science. The MATH predicted the existence of the Higgs Boson 50 years before the scientific technology was able to establish that it actually existed.

Like other sciences there are ways of supporting hypothesis using different disciplines. Paleontology deals with gaps in the fossil records by supplementing the missing parts with DNA records that are more complete but lacks the ability to give us an idea of what an intermediate species might look like. We can explore the universe with math and both visual and radio telescopes. We deduced that the mathematical probability of planets existing around other stars existed long before we obtained the physical confirmation.

You do not need to be able to physically count every dollar in your bank account to know that you have N amount of them. You do not need to know the coefficient of friction between your brake rotors and the pads to know that they bring your vehicle to a stop. You do not need to know the thermal properties of gasoline in order for your internal combustion engine to work.

So do YOU BELIEVE that your car will accelerate and stop because scientists told you that it would or because you EXPERIENCE the acceleration and braking sensation every time you put your foot on the respective pedal?

Do you BELIEVE that you can take a plane to a vacation resort and be there in a couple of hours because scientists told you that heavier than air planes can fly or because you have been on them yourself?

The asinine requirement that you have to REPEAT EVERY SINGLE EXPERIMENT for yourself in an INANE DEFLECTION.

We live in the PHYSICAL REALITY of the world around us. We EXPERIENCE the PHYSICAL REALITY of the world around us on a DAILY BASIS. If a "scientist" were to claim that "pigs can fly" but could not demonstrate that to be the case then he would lose credibility and be out of work. Science is SELF CORRECTING which why we have PEER REVIEW to ensure that what is discovered is REPLICABLE by others.

The scientific experiments to find the Higgs Boson was EXACTLY that process IN ACTION.

The scientific process deals with reality and it works.

    No "belief" is required.

    Faith vs science?

They operate in two completely different ways and meanings, and don't really clash.

One deals with the spiritual/idealistic, the other the physical/realistic.

They don't mix, as faith more often than not comes with ideological dogma wanting their faith to be true.

The God shaped yearning in the human heart proves that God is real.

No it doesn’t. You have zero evidence your god exists.

Nebraska Man, Piltdown Man, Java Man, Peking Man, Neanderthal Man, and Lucy are all supposed to be missing links, and every single one of these has been disproved scientifically.

If humans evolved from apes, the fossil record should reveal a multitude of transitional forms. and because humans are said to have evolved relatively recently, the fossils would have had less time to decay and should therefore be plentiful.
