If you don't think that economics is an exercise in the analysis of human behavior then I would say it is you who is wrong. Let me give you a glaring example. The designer of Obamacare was an economist. He believed that he could get young people to pay for overpriced health insurance by requiring it under penalty of a fine and the fine was significantly less costly than the overpriced health insurance. The youth didn't buy it and and the result was un-affordable deductibles for those that did buy it. The insurance companies had to fit the monstrosity into their actuarial calculations and that was the result.

I'm not an economist but I saw the problem with that analysis of human behavior instantly. I just used common sense and memories of my youth.

The U.S. has not led with with "Warp Speed."
He's 74-years-old, not 78. He takes the club too far inside and comes over the top on the downswing.
    Geez, who cares.

Democrats are perpetuating The Big Lie propaganda today in order to gain totalitarian One-Party State power, just like Hitler, Stalin, and Lenin did before them. The siege on the Capitol is being used at their Reichstag Fire.

Seeing 20,000 military at yesterday's inauguration was also reminiscent of historical days of the tyrants and dictators which Americans used to detest.

Just accuse the opposition of being the evil liar and use media propaganda to get a majority of the public to believe it.

The Big Lie: The funeral march of a nation's freedom. Unity by force.

Well, don’t commit seditious acts like trump supporters did on 1/6/21, and there wouldn’t be a need for increased security. Pretty simple really.

Understanding how the banking system works, the impact of tax cuts, what causes inflation, etc. isn't a study of human behavior. There are parts of economics that isn't focusing on human behavior.
Most economists who studied Obamacare knew there would be significant upside pressure on insurance rates as rules prevented premium surcharges for preexisting conditions and premiums were subsidized for low-income wage earners.
Frankly, I think Obama and his economists knew there would be a problem with premiums and just wanted to get Obamacare into law,
"Monstrosity?" It was the rather predictable result of adding millions of people to healthcare system, who pay, collectively, far less in premiums than they consume in services.

If we want people who can't afford medical care given their health and income, we have to decide how to pay for it. I think subsidies should be paid out of general taxes.
To the extent you have to accept the laws of supply and demand, it's about human behavior. Otherwise, it's a practical matter of figuring out who pays, how the system works, or deciding to leave these folks to fend for themselves.

You should drop this nonsense and talk about issues.

Biden meant only that he was going back to the failed policies of Obama.

Trump would further the things he did that did make our country great again.

Having one party stage a coup and take over totalitarian control is an issue.

Trump isn't responsible for a handful of anti-government anarchists anymore than Kamala Harris is responsible for the actions of individual anti-government Antifa members. If he is, then she is.

Please show some respect for history. I know you will refuse, but at least consider treating it with the gravity it deserves instead of parroting nonsense like this.

It's absolutely a grave matter, seeing the Democrat Party today perpetuate tyranny on a public which has not been taught the lessons of history for at least two generations.

Donald Trump was an outsider. The State had to turn him into their greatest enemy in order to regain and take complete power.

The State is now calling for silencing of dissent and political opposition will soon be labelled "domestic terrorists". The rhetoric has already started in State Media.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.Joseph Goebbels on The Big Lie

It is a grave matter. Which is why you should actually learn word words like "tyranny" mean and use them accurately instead of this BS.

Trump had his faults. It is okay to criticize them. Come to terms with those facts.

No they haven't, no it won't, and we don't really have "State Media." We have publicly funded programing with stuff like PBS and NPR, which is some of the tamest **** in existence, even if you disagree with their leanings.. Please come to terms with reality and stop making **** up.

Pretty sure my camp-surviving grandfather would rise from the grave and haunt me if I so much as dignified the last Goebbels historical ignorance with a response, so I won't.

Yeah. Government tyranny by the Democrat Party is absolutely correct term for how they have used The Big Lie every day for over four years to take down Trump and assume total control.

Because there was "too much" security after a violent RW terrorist uprising a few days before. Nah, you still don't understand what the word means.

If you say so I made no such claim.

It's not my fault you did not watch the hearings if you want to know now go educate yourself it's not up to me transcribe or post transcripts for you. But maybe you should just accept the facts and get over it.

LOL....since when has anybody presented any facts that prove voter fraud.....NEVER...

See, a fact is not someone saying, " I think there was voter fraud" or "I heard there was voter fraud".....and that's all that was brought to court and why they were laughed out of court...

But if it brings you solace to think there was voter fraud....go ahead, it won't change a thing :) :) :)

It is up to the one making a claim to prove it....not anyone else's responsibility.....why do righties always make it someone else's responsibility ????

Was the president of the United States, the VP, former presidents, Supreme Court justices in Portland?
