You kind of disqualified yourself there. Climate change is not being confused with seasonal changes in weather. In fact, that is actually done by every climate change denier who's posted something like "Walked outside today and it was cold, guess there's no global warming durr durr durr durr durr".

So when we have several hot days, that was global warming at work?

Aw, crap! That weather prediction left out the Rocky Mountain West. But, since we haven't much of anything like a 'hard, cold, snowy' winter in something like FIFTEEN YEARS in the area from Denver down to Pueblo, Colorado, maybe we're finally about DUE! I hope so! I'm sick of Red Flag fire danger and the endless drought nearly all damned year long!

Sorry but the climate alarmists do confuse climate change with seasons.

Because scientists grossly over-estimated the basic intelligence level of the general population?

Global Warming refers to general increase in average temperatures around the entire planet, impacting the entire atmosphere. Within higher averages over all, there can be greater extremes at both ends of the scale. A range from 20 to 60 has an average of 40. A range from 10 to 80 has an average of 45.

Climate Change typically refers to specific changes in trends of surface climate patterns, which can involve a whole range of kinds of change, including shifting seasonal variations, changes in incidence and intensity of extreme weather events, changes to precipitation patterns and changes in temperature patterns, covering increases and decreases, in averages and extremes. Global Warning is presented as one factor which can influence Climate Change in all sorts of different ways.

Global Warming became to be the initial label for the concept in the public domain as a whole pretty much at random, primarily because the focus was on reducing the factors that were said to be leading to Global Warming. When the issue became a partisan-political one and the the term was intentionally misrepresented to belittle the entire concept, Climate Change began to be used to mitigate that misinformation, better linking public opinion on the alleged effects of the underlying problem. The core meaning and intent was unchanged, regardless of which term was being used.

Note that nothing I'm saying here is arguing for or against any of the specific issues here. I am purely explaining the underlying syntactic, logical and sociological facts.

Yeah, I can't speak for every Joe, Bob, and Suzy out there but I CAN tell you that those who aren't ignorant about the topic aren't confusing climate change with seasonal changes. And as I pointed out, it tends to be the climate change deniers who do this.

It is the climate change alarmists who predict the world is going to end every decade yet we still keep on rolling along.

Wrong again. Nobody predicts the world is going to end, only that climate is going to keep getting more erratic resulting in more extreme weather patterns and climate shifts which in turn will affect just about everything, including food production.

After all the years of Red Flag fire danger and drought that we have put up with in the Western U. S., if it starts snowing in Colorado on Halloween night, and doesn't stop until next Easter, it will be JUST FINE with me!

End of the world? No. A more difficult world that would change established practices, alter the economic landscape, and produce chaos in some parts of the globe? Yes.

Farmers’ Almanac Predicts Cold, Snowy Winter For Most Of U.S., Here’s Where It Will Be Mild And Dry

Since the Farmer's Almanac predicitions score about 50% correct (random result) then you can believe them and be half right. Or you can ignore them and wait to see.

This is at the same level as creationists attempting to criticize evolutionary science. Clueless, proud, basing beliefs on an agenda rather than facts.

I live in Wyoming, I buy it for fishing times! They never get the weather right here! And all they really have to say is, snow and or BONE ass cold until June and then cold again in September!

I have to share a story about Wyoming. I was driving back to college a few days after I had returned from a summer in Mexico. Outside of Laramie I fell ill and went to the emergency room at the hospital there. They diagnosed the problem as amoebic dysentery, something obviously contracted in Mexico. They offered to admit me or send me on my way with some drugs that would at least allow me to get to school in Colorado. I opted for continuing the journey. They provided the drugs, wished me well and refused to take any payment for the service. I spent an unpleasant week in the college infirmary. I have never forgotten the fine folks at that hospital in Laramie. It was medical care at its finest and all without any compensation. There aren't many places where that would have happened.

I love Wyoming, and I wish we here in Colorado were still a LOT more like the fine folks in Wyoming. After Colorado became a dumping ground for hordes of expatriate Californians in the 1990's, our state has gone pretty much to hell in more ways than one.

The weather is even weirder in Wyoming than it is here. It is the only place I've been in the continental U.S. where it can freeze convincingly at night, but then have a high temperature over 100 degrees that same day!

I think Wyoming benefits from sparse population. It causes people to help each other rather than fight with each other. I think the Tetons are prettier than any of the 14ers in Colorado.

Having lived and studied in Colorado I can tell you about days in which it rained or snowed on us without a cloud in the sky. The rain blew in from the mountains over the front range. Eventually the clouds producing the precipitation appeared but t was bizarre for a while..
