Why would it have caused mass panic? Why would he tell a reporter If people finding out would be bad?
All he had to do was tell the truth. Instead he promoted conspiracy theories and now many of his supporters think it’s a hoax.

No...but what he did do....and was later attacked by the left, was stayed calm when he heard the news. Didn't panic the room full of press, parents and school children...allowed the program to end...then acted.

The major difference between the two, was one...we were in real time being attacked by a physical force, and when Trump spoke to Woodward, we had no cases in the United States yet. Both acted a calm leaders not to set off a mass panic in the moment then acted strongly...that's leadership.

 

of course Dems didn't cause that...we know what Biden would do, just like he did when he was in teh Obama Admin dealing with H1N1....simply stop testing...so we would not see any spike in postive test....and there was about 60 million postive cases in the US according to the CDC estimates (they had to use estimates because of the stop test orders

For some reason, in todays world you have to either love, or hate. I can't speak for other people, but I don't have to like someone to understand what they are saying, accept what they are saying, or not accept what they are saying.

I don't agree with a large number of things Fauci has said. I don't agree with a large number of things Trump has said. That doesn't make either one bad or good.

 

That is MY question to YOU and others complaining he didn't want to panic people.

He did they are similar viruses....this one in particular because a corona virus is typically just respiratory...where a flu can do much more....this strain of corona seems be more like the flu because it is beyond respiratory in some cases
