Law And Order is very much in the letter and spirit of the Constitution. Why do you think its not, and why do you think your political leader should be above the law?

Trumps lawyer named the judge, she knows who because they have the warrant.

Well of course they would believe Biden, a paragon of veracity.

    Claimed to drive a truck;
“I used to drive an 18-wheeler, man,”

Claimed to visit Tree of Life Synagogue
"I remember spending time at the — you know, going to the — you know, the Tree of Life Synagogue, speaking with the — just — it just is amazing these things are happening — happening in America.”

Claimed to be arrested trying to see Nelson Mandela
“I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto"

Claimed his Delaware house burned down with his wife in the house. What happened was a small kitchen fire.
"And I know, having had a house burn down with my wife in it — she got out safely, God willing"

Claimed to march in civil rights movement.
“When I marched in the civil rights movement, I did not march with a 12-point program,”

I could go on, but I will just end this comment with a question. Who was it that "borrowed" five pages from a published law review article and had to beg not to be expelled?

I don't care if Biden was informed or not, I definitly do care whether a sitting president is trying to weaponize the FBI, Justice Dept and the AG's office as tools to attack his political rivals. I am sure we can all agree we should never, ever tolerate that kind of behavior! That kind of behavior by our highest federal officer would represent a despotic tyrannical breach from the norms of our standards. No real American could continue to support someone like that.

The "lock him up" lemmings are just rebleating the phrase fed to them. They don't want to run against trump and are taking every opportunity to distract from the results they are producing. The "show me the person and we will find a crime" strategy is common in other parts of the world.

I don't think its good for the country, but eventually, they will get a taste of their own medicine and a dem will get the trump-treatment.

But Garland, the FBI and the judge will have lots of explaining to do. Especially to Democrats who think this is the smoking gun keeping Trump from running for office except this won't do that even if he is charged and convicted of possessing classified documents. Only proof that Trump was involved in insurrection would do that.

So you either are claiming that we should never criminally investigate any GOP for anything ever no matter what the evidence . . . or you can defend your claim that this was all political. Which is it?

Its like saying Pablo Escobar turned over 1 brick of cocaine, while keeping 10 bricks. Why didn't Trump just turn over everything?

This has nothing to do with Hillary, Trump running in 2024 or Jan-6.

    • Mar-a-Lago search highlights Trump’s growing legal exposure

As the legal risks facing Donald Trump and his inner circle continue to expand, the former president and key allies have been playing round robin with a small pool of defense lawyers.

Trump will sit for a 7-hour deposition by the New York attorney general Wednesday, two days after the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago estate as part of an investigation into whether classified material was mishandled. To fight any potential federal challenges, the former president is pulling from a cadre of lawyers in his orbit with"

This sudden interest in the rule of law is refreshing. No such interest surfaced when we were encouraging people to break immigration laws. Only laws you agree with should be enforced.

if Trump destroyed evidence, would not find anything

but sounds like they found a lot of documents already, Trump should have turned these over, why keep them?

There is nothing sudden about it. Well, maybe there is for you. Oh wait, you are NOT for rule of law, and maybe never were.

No, your messiah actually had those documents. Are you saying someone planted them? LOL

Secret Police/Spy agencies are always weaponized for political purposes. Even just to rig school board elections. The thinking Left used to know that.

"To quell dissent, the FBI's primary efforts inevitably interfered in the political process. The thrust of the FBI campaign against the Socialist Workers party was to subvert SWP's efforts to elect candidates to public office. In 1962, the New York office of the FBI compiled an arrest and conviction record on an SWP candidate for Manhattan borough president and supplied it to a reporter for the New York Daily News, who published it in a column. In 1963, the San Francisco office sent an anonymous letter to a black independent candidate for mayor of the city, attacking the SWP members active in his campaign and urging him to dissociate himself from them. In 1964, the Newark office distributed leaflets attacking a New Jersey SWP candidate for the U.S. Senate for alleged anti-black political stands on issues. In 1965, the Denver office sent an anonymous letter from a "concerned mother" to the Denver School Board in which the SWP affiliations and activities of a school board candidate were detailed. The purpose of the letter was "to prevent him from being elected to the School Board." When an SWP candidate was running for mayor in 1965, the New York field office sent an anonymous letter to various newspapers and television stations revealing that the candidate had previously appeared in court in Chicago for "non-support" of his family and that his marital status could be questioned. In 1969, the New York field office sent an anonymous letter to a black SWP candidate for mayor that purported to be from white members of the SWP and attacked him for being too militant on the race issue, in order to cause dissension and hurt his campaign."

Of course I see it. Both parties work to expand their power and their access to tax revenue. Everyone is so focused on demonizing the other party, they don't realize that they are just criticizing their own reflection. The "lock her up" lemmings rebleated the phrase fed to them and now the "lock him up" lemmings are taking their turn.

Yes, the other party is just as bad. As incompetent as he may be, the results the dems are producing makes him a worthy opponent. Perhaps the solution to abuse of power is reducing power.

Jebus on a stick man. Now the problem is “arrogance” ? Seriously…..THAT is where Trumpers think the problem is ? If you dont see irony in that position, supporting the most arrogant man on the planet, then claiming someone else’s arrogance is bad, then irony is officially dead.
