Trump is organizing his own "send off" event to distract the inauguration and wants a crowd of his supporters there. Its as if the police and National Guard didn't have enough things to worry about that day.

Probably only those who act on those plots.

I can see him doing that. The police and NG don’t need to be overly concerned about that.

Trump will have to accept the consequences or suffer from them. The votes spoke out and the Majority chose Biden as President. The Moral Majority made the logical choice and it's official and final.

What social media sites have been using to communicate these plots?

    • The Michigan Legislature canceled its sessions scheduled for next Tuesday through Thursday because of "credible threats" made against the state Capitol. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the object of a far-right kidnapping conspiracy last year, is deploying the National Guard.
    • The Oregon State Legislature, which was scheduled to begin its 2021 session Tuesday will delay until at least Friday, reports Oregon Public Broadcasting.
    • Utah Gov. Spencer Cox declared a state of emergency Friday through next Thursday because of potential protests at the state Capitol in Salt Lake City.
    • Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced the state Capitol grounds in Frankfort would be closed Sunday and law enforcement including the National Guard would be prepared to ensure security.

Paranoia is a bad beast ... overall for public authorities.

It seems that at Capitol Hill they are passing from an absurd lack of attention to a kind of paranoia.

Look, this position is utterly absurd. These people are known by now. They've been identified by the FBI and arrested. Their social media and their entire lives are known by now, and no, they are not Antifa or BLM. They are MAGA. Listen to the freaking Republican House Minority Leader in a conversation with Trump, who kept insisting that they were Antifa, and Kevin McCarthy kept saying "No. They were MAGA. I know. I was there." I saw a humoristic piece by a black guy who posted this: "We did it, Antifas! We all got shitty tattoos, grew out neck beards, bought MAGA merch disguises and stormed the Capitol to stop the process of an election we already won. Special thanks to the White Chicks makeup crew for turning us all into dumpy looking white men." Look, I can't take seriously anyone who entertains the notion that the insurrectionists at the Capitol were Antifa and BLM in disguise. If that's the level of denial displayed here, sorry, but there is no point in continuing a conversation.

By the way, not just MAGA but QAnon and White Supremacists too. Listen to Ben Sasse.

National Guard members will be posted and many state capitols and will be ready for any criminal attack like this one at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield, Ill.
They will be ready for any Trump terrorist attack. The best that these Trump terrorist can do is to stay home like the rest of us and not have any consequences to accept and suffer like Donald Trump who is going to have to accept and/or suffer the consequences for his actions if and when the impeachment trials start of get a censure for his actions as President. Trump is going to get what he deserves and that is a promise.

It doesn't seem like the man arrested in Washington DC in a checkpoint, Wesley Allen Beeler, is linked to any radical movement. It is perfectly possible that his explanation is actually true. He said he works in private security and has a license for his gun in Virginia, but took a wrong turn and found himself in DC. Seems like the judge believed him, as he was released. He was told not to return to DC though, and was charged with violating DC gun laws.

Trump is going to have to suffer for what he did. For example, He tried to overturn the 2020 elections to his favor, Example: Trump pressured Georgia Secretary of state Brad Raffensperger to interfere in the 2020 election. Example: Incited a deadly riot that led to the storming of the U.S. Capitol. There were those that were killed and some windows were smashed in the process. There was damage. Anything else?

Avowed Trump supporter arrested near Capitol for carrying gun; woman charged with impersonating police
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/a...h-impersonating-police/ar-BB1cPNQN?li=BBnb7Kz
The aunt said she saw Berry on Jan. 6 and knows he was not at the Capitol that day, when a mob of supporters of President Trump forced their way into the building to try to stop the certification of his election defeat.

But she said her nephew often voiced pro-Trump sentiments and “always carries his gun.” Asked why, she said, “Just because he can.”

“He’s one of those open-carry people,” the aunt said, adding that she and her nephew disagreed over both politics and his decision to carry a firearm.

Being a Trump supporter is not a crime. This man doesn't seem to be a radical. Let's not exaggerate things. Sure, 509 rounds is suspicious though, but he disputes this count. I don't know, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt given that he doesn't seem to have a radical life story.

Oh wait, it seems like we're talking about two different people. The one I was talking about is not this Guy Berry but rather, Wesley Allen Beeler. I know nothing about this Guy Berry.

No, but his actions are crimes. He was arrested before for firearm violations, so he seems pretty unstable.

These pictures to me are totally disgusting and that Camp Auschwitz was a disgusting concentration camp in Nazi Germany and that man in the picture wearing that Camp Auschwitz ought to be ashamed of him for wearing such garbage. I find if offensive like the swastika used in Nazi Germany.

Replace the word pro trumper with Antifa and BLM and both statements are correct. FWIW I don't know anybody that wants to go to war and frankly I don't know anybody that wants to protest, the primary reason is because I have distanced myself from crazy people but they ARE out there.

no justice no peace unfortunately is a thing now, the media helped normalize civil unrest.

My prediction is that there will be a few peaceful protests. And a few of those will eventually turn violent because of counter-protesters stirring up trouble.

But that's just a guess based on past events, I have no real insight into the minds of either side of extremism except to label them as nut jobs and avoid them in my daily life.
