We’ve completely drifted away from what made us great. This is no longer a country of Christians committed to small government.

We’re Belgium x 100, with an inevitable third world invasion looming.

I’m glad I was born in 1962 instead of 2062.

Mind you, unless a judge says otherwise, the burden of proving the fear is on the 'migrant'.

If a migrant can't provide legal documentation to a border agent, they shouldn't even be given a hearing. If you can't prove who you are, why should we believe ANYTHING you say? There's no war going on down there. There's functioning govt. People aren't' being displaced overnight. How can they not have documentation? What kind of 1st world nation doesn't have records? We were told they're not **** holes, remember=) They're wonderful countries with amazing people. Funny how all these amazing people destroy nearly everything they touch. Is there a single functioning 1st world Latin American country that isn't a corrupt dirty mess, everyone is trying to flee? But I guess that's all our fault and not the people living there?

There's no way this fool with a black robe will have his decision stand. He shouldn't be on a bench.

He's the same idiot that lied while sitting on the bench about Michael Flynn.... or did he just "misstate"?

Again it was the ACLU who bought the case to the judge. They are destroying this country from within.

The have become nearly lock step Leftists. We lost a once good organization that looked out for Americans.

They should take "American" out of their name. They do not look out for Americans.

Another Judge who has oversteps their authority. They can't "order" the WH to do that.

Your right, these judges are out of hand. I heard there is one in Texas that with a stroke of a pen took health care away from millions.

Perhaps if they did they could challenge some of the abuses of the 2nd Amendment.8)

I thought the judge said we have to accept requests for asylum (which is the law, btw), but we have to grant asylum only if the asylum seekers meet the legally spelled out and very specific and long standing criteria. "My neighbor scares me" does not cut it. Am I wrong?

No, and the law on seeking asylum is specific in that a credible fear is only based on a foreign governments persecution because of race, religion, national origin, political opinion, or membership in a social group.

This is getting confusing: too any judges spoil the law, I guess. What Sullivan ruled is being reported a number of ways -- I guess based on the agenda of the reporters.
The law is specific that requests for asylum have to be accepted and processed. The law is also specific on the criteria for granting asylum. From the link, "alleged accounts of sexual abuse, kidnappings, and beatings in their home countries during interviews with asylum officers.” is not included in the laws criteria. If Sullivan said aliens were unlawfully deported and ordered back for new credible fear interviews, he is correct if the request for asylum was not processed. He is not correct if he said the above have to be taken into account.

No, according to our erudite 'Federal Judges', all some 'migrant' needs to do is come up to our 'immigration kiosk' and start babbling about being 'abused' or supposedly being afraid of something --- and -- INSTANTLY -- they're accorded a place in the queue for red-carpet entry into the United States, with Democrats screeching that we should also provide them with housing, food, medical treatment, and everything else they want while they prepare for their pampered entry into the great Socialist-Democrat Welfare Circus....
