firearm licensing fees

    Where do the fees I pay for firearm registration and/or a CCW Permit go? Are they distributed to enforce gun laws?

    Ayuh,... It depends on Where yer doin' it....

    Here in NYS, the money goes to the local Sheriff's office as administrative fees to administer the registration dept...

    As most CC permits are issued by the states, the fees will go into the state coffers to pay for anything from feeding welfare rats to sex change operations for the G&L crowd.

    My firearm permit dollars go to pay for the tiara on Miss Mississippi's head!
