Would you take this cruise? What will happen when they don't find the edge of the world? Is it just Youtube that's responsible for the persistence of flat-earth belief?

They cite social media and YouTube. But

It's the same reason trump got elected. And you see many trump supporters posting YouTube videos made by nobodies, to justify their beliefs.

I wish I had thought of that moneymaking idea.

They will have some kind of excuse as to the edge of the world--probably, we didn't go far enough, or the captain didn't pilot the ship straight, etc.

The world of fantasy some of you live in... Honestly. It is hard to grasp. So, what you're really saying is that big tech (google in this case) being that they own youtube, is responsible for inducing folks into these positions.... Well now, that's an interesting observation....

No I didn't say that. They did. I'm saying trumpers are as gullible as flat earthers. Trumpers use nonsense youtube videos and sources here all the time. But given that you seem to have problems reading two sentences correctly, the point is moot. ;)

I recently debunked a video on energy alternatives pushed by a trumper, and made by an anthropologist.

At some point you have to take a side here. If, as you lament, folks are being irreparably changed or induced into extremism, the platform through which that conversation is being facilitated by must also bear some or the majority of the responsibility for it. That you haven't considered it, well, that's normal. Getting a helping hand to further refine your floundering and getting snapped at.. well, that's just rude. :roflol:
