    They actually CAN do so...

Don't eat food? Don't drink water? Don't itch an itch? etc. etc.???

Idk what you speak of. I can only speak for me. I'm telling you that this virus can survive in open air for hours. (only minutes at most if in direct sunlight).

So you're saying that no one has accidentally coughed on someone? Why would someone with a cough not go out? Have you ever gone out when having a cough or cold?

You do not know science, you have no idea about virology, you are flatly refusing to acknowledge science and instead arguing a dead point contending that masks don't work.

You're wrong, there's no other way to say it. You are very wrong. I will repeat this once more. Wearing a surgical mask will not protect you from getting Covid19. Wearing a surgical mask will protect others from you. You have to wear a mask correctly. You should never rub your nose with the mask on. You should never touch your face or mask.

If you are a person with a health problem you should always wear a mask. Coronavirus go right through paper or cloth masks but the point is to protect others around you, not yourself. If everyone could just understand that, we would cut down on new infections. Everyone with a mask is like 'herd-masking'. Everyone has one on, everyone protects the others. The N95 respirator will block 99.8% of virus particles or aerosol droplets. The last thing to remember is that not all sneezes or particles passed from an infected person has the same amount of viral load. You may have one person with a very high viral load in their sputum, and the next will have an extremely high number of virus in their sputum. The depth and gravity of how badly you get ill depends on the viral load you've inhaled or ingested.

Are you really willing to take the risk of getting this virus which is extremely communicable, and getting sick at a time when hospitals are stressed to the limit, PPE is in short supplies, hospital nurses and doctors are becoming ill, and there are no ventilators left? Are you really willing to risk that?

If you wear a face mask, and everyone you come into contact with wears a face mask, it significantly cuts down on the amount of virus is expelled from the mouth of the mask-wearer.

And here is thread where you are the one first to bring up race. Do you ever ask yourself why?

As though the fidgeters only touch the outside and now you are saying it only protects others from the infected and is useless to protect the non sick? You might want to argue with Faucci about that one.

All you have to show us, is 1. that people do not touch their nose, eyes, lips or face without that mask, and 2. that the virus from a double surface transfer (indirect x2 and with a greater time delay) ( virus is transferred from you to the mask, then from the mask to what you touch to an object , then from the object you touched, to the fingers of someone else, who then touches their mouth) is as dangerous as the direct transfer from fresh particles in the air to the skin of another, who then transfers it when they put their fingers in their mouth or eyes ( indirect x 1).

Where did I say that a mask will be useless in protecting the non-sick?

OK, great, the virus can be on both sides, thanks for seeing the logic on what a dumb idea to be touching a mask, from any side.

Instead of being on the fabric of the mask, those virus particles would have traveled directly into your mouth or up your nose. Please point out where anyone said that touching your mask is a good idea? Do you touch your mask?

And still no evidence that masks don't work.......Obviously you are not capable of wearing a mask without frequently touching it

This isn't about health care choices. This is about public safety.

If someone is honestly refusing a mask because the government wants them to wear one, it's time for them to put their big boy pants on and stop being a petulant child.

What freedoms did the Democrats "take away" in the last few months? Have there been no public health orders regarding COVID-19 from Republicans?

I won't be voting for anyone who thinks a simple step that will greatly aid public safety is too much to ask someone to do for their country during a time of crisis. So that means the field of Republicans I could vote for isn't very big.

Except that coronovirus are not free floating particles. They are expelled in water droplets which will get caught in the mask. And even if it doesn't catch every one, it will still block far more than it lets through.

The science here is not your problem. You've proven that with the straw grasping.

You simply don't want to wear it, and you don't like being expected to.

You're not alone. There are millions of people doing the same thing as you.

You can find them by watching the upticks in infections, hospitalizations, and deaths across the country.

Guess what? If a store is crowed I DO wear one, like I did yesterday in WalMart. Assumption fail on your part, see -------- > (yep, that's me!) IMG_20200714_162821.jpg I simply object to being forced to. See the problem with assumptions?

Good. You're doing the important part. I don't care how you feel about having to do it. I only care if you're doing it. Nobody wants to wear a mask and I doubt folks enjoy being told to. But they do it anyway because it's necessary and important.

When is comes to mask-shaming, all tools must be used to accomplish the goal.

    All tools matter.

Non responsive. "And here is thread where you are the one first to bring up race. Do you ever ask yourself why?" that was the post. Unless you are doing the 'mask-shaming', your reply does not answer the question. Why did you bring up race?

Well that was telling. I will leave you to think on it some more. You should be able to do better than this.

So, if you know how to wear a mask properly what is your excuse for not wearing one?

That is true and I have no empathy or sympathy for him whatsoever because this jerk's actions will "sow" the disease for others to "reap"....

When WILL these selfish, ignorant jerks start acting like they have a brain?
