Will my posts which are "awaiting moderation" will be posted soon, or they are just gone?

 

They will be up soon, I have let a few through so you have a few more to go before you are on your own!

 

I'm new - as if you couldn't tell. Independent voter and thinker.

 

Just trying to get used to the layout and hoping to engage with all kinds of people throughout the world so that i can enhance my understanding of my place in the world and have some fun and maybe learn something.

 

When do I get to start posting without admin approval, and how long does said admin approval take?

I am interested in the forum... but if today's posts are going to take more than a few minutes to be "approved"... well there are other forums, no offense intended.

It really depends on whether we are online at the time. I've been a bit lazy today, don't hold it against me. You might be waiting anywhere from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. Just try and be patient with us.

Wouldn't it have been better to get him approved instead of typing the message explaining why he isn't approved?

 

I saw that he was approved shortly after he asked the question. That's pretty quick considering all the new members onboard.

 

His post was approved. He may have to have a few more approved before he's on his own.

You can go and edit your profile to put an avatar up, just click on your UserCP to do all that.

Observer status is just a name you get when you first sign up here. It will change when you get a few more posts under your belt.

Hey when can I post without it being moded.(its been a while) It sort of takes the fun out of posting.

 

It only took a few posts for me, hopefully your posting now without the waiting..

 

Takes about ten posts, so a few more and you should be okay.

 

Maybe a Mod can delete one of the two posts I sent in a thread before I realized there was such a rule here.

Btw, that notice that came up informing one of said rule disappears really quickly and can make one look like they're repeating themself if one wasn't paying attention.....

 

I'll have a look for those posts for you.
