    Former CIA Director John Brennan just tweeted a strongly worded reaction to President Trump's news conference, saying it "was nothing short of treasonous."

    Here's his tweet:

    Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

    Anderson Cooper: Trump-Putin presser was "one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president"


    CNN's Anderson Cooper reacted to President Trump's remarks at a joint news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin shortly after they ended.

    "You have been watching perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president at a summit in front of a Russian leader certainly that I've ever seen. An extraordinary press conference."
    Trump, at the news conference, said he didn't see a reason for Russia hacking into the 2016 presidential election.

    Cooper said Trump was given the chance the opportunity to give a statement on election interference, and "he blinked."

    You need to remember that Brennan has his own problems. He has a lot of questions to answer about the corruption he presided over.

    The Trump / Putun press conference was certainly not Trump's finest performance, but calling it treasonous and a high crime is idiotic.

    I'm not sure why you guys continue with that lunacy? Trump has been much tougher on Russia than our previous president. What US policies and actions has Putin controlled or altered for his benefit?

    America's national security should never be RU controlled.

    It is true that even two days ago, the media was already calling the meeting a huge failure. Nothing woukd have changed that view.

    The left started the emotional melt down on election night 2016 and has gotten progressively worse day by day. I don't believe that they will ever recover. Even once Trump's tenure as POTUS over. Their mental disease is permanent.
