As for the forum, just replace the word 'rights' with the word 'issues', as first suggested in the OP. I probably won't live long enough for a broader change to matter much to me. That sort of thing takes decades to trickle down.

 

So no current efforts? Really all we need to do with the stonewall inn riot is remember it. The efforts were achieved. Thats what the parade is about.

 

They also post nice neat little News Letters, all available at the usual festive bars and hangouts.

There are all manner of efforts today, and many people complain constantly and vocally about those efforts.

Efforts to do what? What is the goal?

 

First off:
You don't get to tell me where or when or what is good for me or what place is right for me, like the back of the Bus etc.

And Second, Gay Rights are the issue here, covered by Organizations like Stonewall, Saphos Isle, fighting bigotry against Gay Men and Lesbians and others, that do not conform to what other people think and feel, much as you do to me at every turn.

gay rights? What rights do gay people not have that everyone else does? The Stonewall Inn was a gay bar in New York what organization are you talking about?

I Googled "Saphos isle" and saw nothing. I saw something about Sapphos isle in relation to ancient Greece and lesbianism. But I have no idea what that is.

Why would anyone care about bigotry that's just what other people think about you if you spend all your life caring what other people think you are not going to live very well.

Stonewall was a similar organisation that published a periodical, seen in Gay bars.
It had stories and references to Gay Laywers and activists as well as editors that were active in Gay Civil Rights.

I don't understand what that means. What civil rights are gay people denied what do these organizations do how are you active in things that you can't Define?

 

So you are not a Gay / Homosexual Man.
It is obvious.

Two Men wish to rent an Apartment, they are Married, etc....
And are told the Apartment is not available, yet the next straight couple walks in and gets the Apartment.

Companies that refuse to hire Gay Men, Lesbians or harrass the ones that do work for them.

This is what I am active in, fighting discrimination against Gays / Lesbians.

You just refuse to understand or have a problem that prevents your understanding, because we have discussed all these issues on this same forum.

no company has the right to harass any of its employees there is already an organization dedicated to just that it's called the EEOC. And companies can refuse to hire all sorts of people for various reasons.

this I understand you don't want people to be discriminated against based on their sexual orientation but we're not talking about rights you don't have the right to work somewhere or live somewhere.

I am perfectly capable of understanding I just adhere to the philosophy that rights are negative in nature.
