    I think most people trust their local news. I wonder if the Sinclair local stations are going to maintain that trust, now they have pushed stories down from HQ, and people know about it.

    Journalism is dead in America.

    Even the WaPo and NYT opines in their news stories even if it's reporting on a train hitting a car at a railroad crossing.

    One of the last news reporting programs on the three cable networks was Shepard Smith on FNC and when he came out of the closet a few years ago admitting he was a liberal peter puffer, he now opines. Have you noticed that ?

    There is no longer any news programs that reports just the "5 W's" (who, what, why, where and when) without opining.

    There's only one source to go to when you want to know what's going on in Congress...C-Span where there is no opining. You watch and listen and you decide.

    Bias and unbridled propaganda are not the same thing. It's a shame the Fox News apologists can't get that through their thick skulls.

    well i agree with you on the commercials to the nth degree !!!!

    while you may have noticed different lengths of coverage on stories, none of it equates to fake news or anything near it.

    I don't like the term fake news, I prefer bias reporting of the news from an angle those three cable news networks want to present to their viewers. None of them deny an event or happening didn't take place. It how they report on those events or happenings. One from a very GOP or conservative view when all the guest are interviewed and the other two from a very Democratic or liberal point of view. It's almost like cable news is working for either the RNC or the DNC.

    Fake news, no. But extremely biased reporting along whatever political agenda each station has.

    Yet a Harvard study shows that Fox was the fairest in reporting on Trump, even though it was more negative than positive. Look at the percentage of negative reporting from CNN, NBC, CBS, ARD, etc. Would it be any wonder Trump's numbers are as low as they are with that kind of reporting? Most Liberals have no idea of Trumps accomplishments in office, as they aren't mentioned by the bias news organizations. To hear Fox say anything positive about Trump must be a lie or they believe the other stations would have reported it. NOT.
