Yep, we non-believers just shake our heads that somebody could actually believe that Trump is a Christian.

BTW: I have grown up as a Catholic. I know a thing or two what the bible teaches about how to behave as a Christian. Trump doesn't fit the bill.

Hey, I don't claim to be Christian, however, his fanclub claims that Trump is. Now, when has he ever NOT judged somebody? His whole appeal is based on calling people on the 'Trumper no likey' list bad people.

 

I wouldn't know if Trump is or is not a Christian. Nor do I care. It seems odd that someone that doesn't believe would care, but then they sure are judgemental about those that do.

 

Back when I was a Christian (in my teenage years) at our church youth group we used to sing this song that had the following lyrics

"They will know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they will know we are Christians by our love."

So, yeah...I have a pretty good guess as to Trump's heart and soul and his private "relationship" with Jesus.

 

I'm judgemental about Trump but it has nothing to do with whether or not he is a Christian...it's the fact that he is a liar, a conman, incompetent and stupid.
I'm judgemental about Christians who support Trump because what I learned about Christianity back when I was a Christian is antithetical to everything Trump does.

 

If it has nothing to do with him being a Christian, why mention it?

 

I mention it because I'm confused as hell as to why the evangelical Christians support him to such a large degree.

Sure, Trump fans are SOO non-judgmental -- about Biden, Dems, immigrants, LGBQT, BLM, teachers.... and the list goes on. That's why Trump goes to Waco for his rally to stoke old, white, male resentment towards the 'others', isn't it?

 

And here I thought that Christians were more concerned with character than power.

 

Idk, are they judging the failed policies of Biden or the character of the man. I do recall the matter of his support for abortion in relationship to being a Catholic. But that's a policy position, not a behavior one since he can't get an abortion himself.

I don't agree that the reason Franklin speaks is self enrichment.
I think he speaks in order to shape this country into a theocracy. Trump goes along with shaping the country into a theocracy for self enrichment.

 

You missed the mark with that one. Most of the dissatisfaction with Biden has to do with his policies, not his behavior (other than his entertaining gaffes). Joe seems like a good man (although the revelation from his own daughter puts that in doubt; plus that of his son accusing him of milking him for financial support).

Trump is an incorrigible sinner….the type of Christian who would steal a horse, then ask God for forgiveness, and then keep the horse.

 

Like most all, he's a sinner, but that doesn't mean he's not a Christian.
