I don't think 276,000 lives fighting for other people's countries is "barely participating".

However, I do think that Russia rarely gets recognized for the massive price it paid to eject Hitler. Their overall losses were close to 11 million.

Many countries have stupid leaders, and those are the ones driving the bus. I have had occasion to meet a number of Russians and work with them; I certainly didn't find them stupid.
One can't look at the conduct we tolerate in our own government without wondering why we do.

I'm just guessing a bit here, but it appears you are German. I respect a lot of things about the German people- but believing they were superior by DNA certainly isn't one of them, and never was When you fight for the purposes that Germany did at that time, and call it somehow superior- you reveal a major problem that says otherwise.

My family came from Hessecastle Germany, immigrated to America around 1870, and was not Jewish. I would hope that the German people of today could be proud of something besides medals for killing people they started wars with because they thought they were superior.

Well im proud for my heritage, for my nation and my ancestors. As dor DNA, i did not say for all but my own. Im very good in sports. I went to sportschool where only best are send in my state and i got a stipendium for my sucess, so i thimk its ok to be proud.

 

I only know the town name from a grandfather, then by some family search my brother did many years ago. No doubt I spelled it wrong. Doing a quick check, I see that Hesse-Kassel is spelled several ways, and in part may be different today than it was 150 years ago. I understand it is in the central part of the country, perhaps 200 Km east of Dusseldorf. My brother visited there about 15 years ago; I've never been to Germany.

It's certainly right to be proud of your own accomplishments.

I would argue that the presence of African immigrants has nothing to do with past colonialism in Africa. You know who else has African immigrants? Sweden does. So do the US and Canada; none of whom who had African colonies.

So you're saying that African immigrants are a bad consequence of past actions, not that they just weren't integrated well. You regard Africans as a punishment, so I'm just trying to to get you to square that sentiment with your previous praises for multiculturalism.

 

No country deserves mass immigration from Africa, unless they're suicidal and they do it to themselves.

 

When the French left Africa, they should have cemented up the sewers they built, dynamited the buildings they constructed, and ethnically French citizens in the colonies should have driven their cars into the nearest body of water, after which, they should have gotten on the last planes to France.

The French weren't always cheese eating surrender monkeys. After WW1, they lost all of the real french men with any backbone in the trenches of the western front. What they had left were the cuckold dregs of the country. The second world war did the same for the rest of europe leaving them a continent of women and genetically inferior males.
