Now here's a culture clash! Whose side are you on? Is this a reasonable accommodation or is this political Islam on the march?
I'm always parted away between my tendancy to let personnal freedom dominate or the fact that when islamists take over some district of France, not wearing veil or not wearing burkini isn't really an option.
To be clear: If any of the "oil eyes" has a problem with a woman in a bikini or whatever in France or in my country ... and then he cause stress and plays the Islamist moral apostles and wags and threatens or seeks worse with the Koran in the hand ... such a person should be the **** beat out by the police and 2 years prison for them! And if that does not help, then kick out of the country if not having citizenship or lifetime jail as dangerous person and threat of the society if having citizenship! Yes ... that's what I say, ... Me who likes to stand against the general and idiotic Islam hatred in this forum! However, I would demand the same if any Christian morality apostle idiot does the same or from whatever religion!
The issue is, in the culture they come from it's believed men can't control themselves if they see a woman in a bikini. Maybe they're right. Thus, bad things happening to women are the fault of those women who "tempted" the man, and what she is doing is bad. There's certainly a cultural change going on in Southern France, topless sun bathing is becoming far less prevelent & popular than it was in the 1990s.
Clothes were invented to stave off the cold. That is all. God didn't give us fur because He wanted us to be nude.
Might be entertaining Meanwhile it is going to be free advertising for the Burkini a made in Australia product
