It is not so much privacy from the government as it is supply not being controlled by government.

Yes, and therefore removing the factor of human corruption......which is why governments do not like it.

LOL! SBF took depositors money and transferred it to another firm.......without permission from the depositors. This is a known fact.

I don't see that it's working out well on that account either, or it would be the go to place to move money during inflationary times. Obviously that's not the case.

Your bank is stealing from you then. Is your bank giving your money to a political party and buying real estate in the Bahamas?

You have shown to know very little about this situation.

The reason for that is most people do not realize what the government is doing with money. Right now most folks are happy with the system we have. Sooner or later it will change. Just like how it took a little while for folks to go from landline phones to cell phones.

    @doombug

All Banks invest in real estate every hour of every day of every year. They all also will be donating to political parties just like most all major corporations using shareholder funds.

I guess that poster thinks SBF just borrowed it from the clients that used FTX. I have given up on anyone that can possibly not understand and even defend this.

Never. But Bitcoins are unpredictable, and it could keep falling. I never invested in Crypro, so I'd have to do some homework before jumping in. Are they sold in fractions, or do you have to fork out $15K to buy one coin?

Ok, I googled is, and yes, you can buy fractions. I also learned that Fidelity will start trading Crypto, which will make trading available to millions of 401K investors who are nervous about opening an account at Crypto exchanges.

    3. Make your purchase
After linking your Bitcoin wallet to the Bitcoin exchange of your choice, the last step is the easiest — deciding how much Bitcoin you want to buy. While a single Bitcoin costs thousands of dollars, the cryptocurrency (trading symbol BTC or XBT) can be bought and sold as fractional shares, so your initial investment could be as low as, say, $25.

Fidelity to Start Offering Bitcoin and Ether Trading
Currently, the retail market is dominated by crypto exchanges such as FTX Trading and Coinbase or brokerage apps like Robinhood. Fidelity wants to be part of the crypto ecosystem, which is why it partnered with Charles Schwab and Citadel Securities in September 2022 to launch a cryptocurrency exchange. Earlier this year, the asset manager announced plans to let retirement savers invest directly in Bitcoin through their 401(k) plans.

you know how I know 100 percent without any logical explanation that this thread is false?

Because it's a republican talking about liberal corruption, and all Democrats, and all liberals, and socialists on the left are all innocent, and never corrupt.
All of the democrat politicians are innocent, and only for the American people.
    yep, mhm.

The problem with bitcoin is "Amount available to be sold/owned" presently there are only 21 million coins! And mining them is increasingly less productive.. Second problem is corruption, and crash's, and this last dump may leave a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths for a very long time.. But if they drop to 10K, and many in the biz believe they will, I may buy a few. Scuddle is, and trends are now emerging that Crypto has a top shelf of around +75-85% from a base value of 10k and then data shows they crash, and, as some say reset.

Lots of Interesting and smart folks out their, LISTEN before you jump and be ready to sell off before trends prove to be right.. Again, 10K seems to be the bottom now "@ 21 million coins", so 10k a coin, MIGHT BE the best margin of safety ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

LOL - Obviously you don't know anything about crypto, or investing, for that matter. My Attorney/Accountant made over $10 million on crypto and has since retired. I made considwerably less but still a huge windfall.

It's not Blackjack, you know. lol

They commit a crime, break the rules, blame someone else, ail against the crime being committed if it can't be swept under the carpet and thgen.....repeat the entire process so they can keep getting away with it.

LSM will ignore news stories that don't fit their agenda like Musk releasing proof Twitter censored anything related to Hunter Biden's laptop. We know LSM loves a good Musk story when they can spin it to their favor.

Yes, the dems should give back their 500m and the republicans their less than 50 million. You keep acting as this is some gotcha, when this dude, worked around limits by putting donations in others name and maximize their contribution limit to the same democrat. Problem was it wasn't his damn money. This is political corruption at its finest.

We have campaign finance laws and campaign donation maxes for a reason. He broke the law, he donated more than allowed by using intermediaries, and this is political corruption at its finest.

Again.......- how so? The guy, who is NOT a politician, broke the law. How does that translate to political corruption in your mind? Political corruption can only occur when committed by.......politicians.
