Who wasn't an Aussie LOLS!!!!
Now THIS is an Aussie streaker!
This one might puzzle a few of the more regular posters
A black hole?
And so true.
Sagan was one of my favorite tv narrators, similar in that respect to David Attenborough. Sagan of course focused his attention on the stars.
Hard to believe Sagan has been dead over 20 years now. Blood cancer finally got him. That's where he was going. He just did not know it yet.
Science was both his God and his religion.
I suspect that all animal life except humans are probably reincarnated.
Well the poster was funny but the person himself was somewhat of a tragedy since he did not live into old age.
How come that's not Foster's ??
Poor snake !!
Hmmmm and there are some here who are heading for Buddhahood and some who are slated to spend the next 10 reincarnations rolling dung as a beetle
Hey!! We have more than one beer you know!!
Well I don't have any funny pictures about that, but here are my thoughts.
My theology stems from Aquinas' 5 proofs of God. But this God is only a philosophy god and therefore pure Deism.
The 12 major branches of Religions that comprise Theism (most aptly explained as "God watches over me") each predict something different.
For me Islam is the most suspect since it merely a plagiarism of Judaism and Christianity.
Buddhism is a nihilistic doctrine which is the so called Buddhahood nirvana. Not really consistent with Aquinas however.
I'm sure that dung beetles are perfectly happy creatures rolling dung until a camel steps on them. But then it does seem to me they will simply hatch again as another dung beetle.
That's my philosophy on that.
That WAS refreshing !!
So, have you gotten used to it yet?
People only get 1 chance. Then it's off to Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory.
