Elections are usually a binary decision and crouching isn't kneeling....

Sadly, the "conservative standpoint" has gone the way of the Edsel and Windows 7.... and I somewhat genuinely mean that, as I'm still mostly a fiscal and foreign policy conservative..

However, Purdue is freaking Churchillian compared to this guy, who has ZERO place near the Senate chamber...

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/herschel-walker-claims-trump-never-182700763.html

    SNIP
    - Hey Herschel, has T**** ever said the election was "stolen"??

“I think reporters said that. I don’t know whether President Trump said that. He’s never said that to me,” Walker responded, prompting Spencer to point out that Trump has “said it over and over. Please.”

“But in that instance right there, I said, ‘Guys, there’s people that they’re unhappy with the election. Do you know what happened? I think something happened. I don’t know what it was—but something happened because people are angry,” Walker said.
    ENDSNIP

People are angry because they're hearing other people are angry because one person said they should be angry.

It's like the most deranged game of "Telephone" ever....

You want to know what my problem with Kemp is? When asked to do a signature verification audit, he authorized a tiny portion of the ballots be verified and he allowed the democrat run county to provide his investigative teams with the ballots they would review. Then when they (obviously) didn’t find anything he says that’s it, it’s official there was no fraud.

A complete farce not only in the methodology but in the fact he just implicitly trusted that the democrat county would provide him with an ACTUAL randomized sample.

That’s tantamount to the Dems asserting that trump has illegal transactions in his financial records and then a dem governor or board or whatever from one state says okay I want Trump and his team to provide me a randomized sample of his financial records. Trumps team provides a “randomized” sample of his financial records and what do ya know? There’s no fraud. And then this democrat ROUNDLY declares that because he didn’t find any fraud in the randomized sampling Trump provided to them that there must not be any noteworthy fraud in his financials.

Would you believe that process? Furthermore if one of your “moderates” did that and then proceeded to defend the sanctity of the trumps financial records as if that bs randomized sampling was gospel, would that not make you call into question whether or not he was on the take too? Because it sure as **** did me.

Brian Kemp wins, and Davis Perdue loses. The racist remarks made and being supported by Trump cost Perdue the Republican nomination for Governor of Georgia. You don't make racist remarks or tell someone to go back where they came from. That is uncalled for, and it will cost you a nomination for a political office. We don't judge a person by their race, creed and even the color of their skin. We should judge by content of character. Everybody should know that.

"... but something happened because people are angry." Walker has Trump's weaselly, manipulative way of speaking, it would seem.

Sorry, Herschel, but the only thing that happened is the thing you avoided admitting happened.

I hope and trust that he will lose by the kind of landslide in the general election that Perdue just lost by in the primary.

Circumstantial for sure, but it was a close race and Trump's actions surely would have accounted for the loss or at least a fair few votes.

I don't forgive him for it, despite viewing him as a relatively good President.

The pettiness of trump and those who listen to him is legendary.
Let’s hope that trump continues his vendetta tour until November.

I have routinely said, the reason Biden won in 2020, was because the Dems during their primary, did not make the same mistakes that Pubs did in their 2016 primary. Dems 'self corrected' from picking populist socialist Sanders in the nick of time with those Carolina race victories for Biden out of nowhere, and with Klobuchar, Buttigieg, and Bloomberg dropping out and endorsing early enough to stop Sanders. That was exactly what Rick Perry was pleading with the 7 GOP candidates splitting the never Trumper vote until it was too late to stop him.

Trump will likely continue to retaliate against people like Kemp. He'll tell his followers they should stay home. Kemp will be the primary target, but there may be others. Any opportunity he sees to try to ensure the loss of someone who rejected his conspiracy theories, no matter how supportive of him they were otherwise, will be considered an enemy.

I have to imagine his response was based on the fact that the whole vote fraud fiasco was a fabricated farce from the start. Everybody knew it. I suspect even many of the folks who wished it were true knew it. You didn't have to be any kind of expert in anything to see Donald Trump and his enablers and sycophants made the whole thing up as an ego defense and a fund raising opportunity for Donald Trump.

So yeah, Kemp didn't play ball with Trump's ego defense. Does that disqualify him from being a conservative?

That’s impossible to know without an actual investigation.

If trump won next election and the democrats said he cheated and one of the democrat governors in a swing state came out and did a partial signature verification and allowed the “randomized sampling” of ballots to be given to them by the Republican controlled district and when that governor looked at that tiny randomized sampling provided to him by the republicans and didn’t find any fraud… he loudly and consistently says that because of that investigation, trump must not have cheated. And then your dem governor proceeds to side with the republicans every time the issue of Trump cheating came up.

    Would you trust him?

I think the Reverend stands a solid chance of beating this guy...

The GOP won't stop until their entire Senate representation are men who did time on the football field...

The "best" news of the night is Raffensberger pounding the T**** candidate in the face by 19%

It's obviously different in other states, but T**** support in Georgia was probably costly, not even neutral...

No, it disqualifies him from MAGA, since as has been pointed out to me several times, there's nothing historically conservative in MAGA....

No. The democrats voted for Kemp and Raff in the primaries. Just like I said they would. Hence the massive early voting total for both Kemp and Raff. They did so because they knew they were dead in the general election.

If your nonsense has any association with the truth, and that in itself would be stunning, that's awesome news and makes for a pretty stupid state-designed election system....

If the Republicans win the next election and the Democrats scream voter fraud without a shred of evidence like he did, I expect them to receive the same treatment Trump has. And I expect that some Democrats will scream voter fraud. Because they did in 2016 and then Trump showed them how to take it to the next level in 2020. But unless they have evidence to base the claims on which they lacked in 2016 and which Trump lacked in 2020, they ought to be met with nothing but indignation and dismissal. Because that's what you do to sore losers who can't handle defeat.

Agreed that it’s a poorly designed election system. But I’ll show you why we know it’s true. Trumps candidates in EVERY state except for the states where democrats are allowed to vote in Republican primaries, his candidate destroyed the competition.

Except in NC and GA where democrats can vote in any primary they want.

But what if he did cheat? How you gonna get evidence without a full investigation? Because I can tell you what we are gonna tell y’all. We don’t need an investigation because you don’t have any proof of fraud. Then the left will say but we need the investigation to find the proof. And we will respond with sorry we need the proof before we do the investigation. Just like the Dems did with us.

Will you be confident in that process that Trump didn’t actually cheat? Cause I don’t think you will.

Oz (presumably) barely won in PA as 68% voted for someone else

Democrats switching prevented SOS from being a runoff, but Perdue was destroyed regardless

Because you have to have a basis for an investigation. There has to be something solid to base the necessity of the investigation on. When Marjorie Taylor Greene blamed California wildfires on space lasers in her 2018 post, did we launch an investigation to find the space lasers she was talking about? I mean, she said it happened right? Why didn't we investigate? How do we know the space lasers didn't do it unless we have a full-blown investigation?

But we can know. Because not only is the claim ridiculous, she didn't put forth a foundational basis for looking into it even one step further. If she had made that post and been like "..and here is my objective evidence for this claim" and actually included some kind of objective evidence, now you have the basis for an investigation to look further.

Trump didn't have that, ever. All he had was a bunch of people angry because he lost who were so obsessed with him that it never even occurred to them just how many people don't like him and wanted him out of office. Even other Republicans who voted for a Democrat for president, even if they didn't vote for any other Democrats on the ticket.

You simply don't need an investigation (or, as I laugh every time I hear a MAGA say it, a FORENSIC investigation) after every election based on nothing.

Every district in the nation does a partial audit after every election to verify their machines and processes are working as expected, because unlike the cheese the MAGAs brought in to muddy the waters, they KNOW what they are doing.

Butthurt is not a reason to conduct an investigation...

and when you throw out 100 different conspiracy theories out there, many of which were clear cut lies from the start, you lose credibility. If they had picked one area, maybe it may have been seen as something worth investigating
