HEY you know that renewable energy is a liberal plot funded by SOROS. Who needs relabels every. Just drill baby drill as said by that energy economic genius Sarah The Puke Palin. Has she been inducted into the Hall of shame of the Terminally Stupid yet? That is still down in Biloxi Mississippi or was it moved to Gasden Alabama?

Nothing wrong with corporate profits but if the SUPREMES have sung out that the corporation is a person therefore as a person the corporation should be a good citizen and also do what it good of all of the citizens of the country. On an voluntary basis that is.

This is from CNN money.. and its excellent.

    excerpt:

Related: How decades of bad decisions broke GE

GE, an icon of the American economy for more than a century, faces a cash crunch that could take years to recover from. It has been left in turmoil by years of questionable deal-making, needless complexity and murky accounting.

Flannery is trying to make the company more nimble and focused on its strengths -- health care, power and aviation. GE has put its railroad business up for sale and is looking for a buyer for the part of the company that makes light bulbs.

Related: Fixing GE won't be quick or easy

Last month, it slashed its cherished stock dividend in half, only the second cut GE has made in its payment to shareholders since the Great Depression.

    Yeah, you said that before.
No, because there were 500,000 per month lost in that time. Obama turned that around.

Maybe Donnie the Stupid can Twitter about athletes,
so his base can forget GE is fading fast under his "watch."
And don't forget, Bush II never happened. His name was
    removed from all GOP memory.

GE has been trying to sell it's major home appliances division, you know fridges, micro waves, stoves etc and 3 years ago it tried to sell that off to Electrolux but the Feds blocked it saying it would create too large of a percent of market for Electrolux and the army of brands under it. Then a you guessed a CommunistvRed Chinese company offered to buy GE APPLIANCE Division. I lost track after that..

F-ing f-Ing schist the Red Chinese company Haire buying it for only $5.4 bill. I do not want any American company or part of a company to get bought by any foreign devils but it would be much much better that it go to a European company rather than a filthy Red Chinese communist country.

Anyone agree that if given this choice of rock and hard place European company vs Chinese go with a company from a civilized part of the world, Europe?

Look great try but don't think 12,000 jobs worldwide can be blamed on anyone. I know you hate the economic numbers Obama put up that Trump is destroying but honestly that's a you problem.

The beauty of the English language is it's subtleties. Did Trump write the tax bill, no. Is it his agenda, yes. He didn't write it but he will sign it. Not his fault it's a bad bill (he's too stupid to understand it) but when he signs it, he's responsible.

First, its 12,000 worldwide not just in America.

Second, the cause is clearly stated:

Globalists bent on pushing their global warming wealth redistribution scam screwed with the energy market and caused this.

    Not Trump.

You committed the original sin in thread making: Not reading your own source.

What I read and have already knew, because of NAFTA and other insane trade deals that were made during the past 28 years, GE has become a multi national owned corporation who owes no loyalty to any country.

The article doesn't mention how many of those jobs that GE will eliminate are in the USA.

The real blame for the cut backs at GE is renewable energy.

Electrical power generated by fossil fuels, nuclear and hydro creates full time permanent jobs while renewable energy creates temporary jobs.

Now who's responsible for pushing for renewable energy which is really really expensive that the consumers end up paying for ?

Obama and the greenies ? I would say so.

GE builds big turbines for electrical generating plants that are fueled by fossil fuels, nuclear power and hydro dams.

tax cuts do not create jobs
getting rid of some regulations do kill jobs
what did these people do that they no longer need them for now

Hydro dams is renewable energy. Wind turbines is anaother example
of renewable energy. They are both examples of green energy.

NAFTA could have had some impact his much needs to be determined.

GE could have gone into wind turban development and Inam sure they at some point in there life did dangle their feet in that water. The technology of a wind or water turbine is very much the same as gas powered in terms of the parts that produce electricity. Hell so is nuclear of course the energy propellent if obviously very much more complicated, dangerous and has extreme security implications.

Solar is also a renewable energy source GE. did not choose to go there but it involves electricity so maybe that was a mistake.

GE must likely was too big and too stubborn to get innocent renewable technology maybe at it's own peril.

GE had expanded into areas such as GE. Capital their financial arm that became a millstone around their necks. I believe they all but divested themselves of that by now. They were in other areas that were no longer too profitable also.

They are the other US jet engine manufacturer and only competitor of Pratt and Whitney (UTechnologies) domestic with Rolls Royce the European competitor. GE battles for military engine contracts with Pratt and of course and for civilian airline engines with Pratt and. rolls.

Part of GE 's problem is that it got so big and diverse That it could not change quick enough or mart enough to take advantage of changing technology and economic forces.

You know it is convenient to blame NAFTA as giving GE the shafta but you know that unions, taxes, competition, regulations and all sorts of excuses have been used over the years. Are all of them an inoact? Yes but other companies work with the same conditions.

Sometimes companies enter markets and fail there. Westinghouse early in the 1940's and 1950's made jet engines. Their military jet engines stunk, were underpowered and Inwas going to say ducked but that would be a good thing for power production. Westinghouse long ago list the jet engine battle.

I gave the middle finger to Trumpeizdas on this because Inam sick of their stupid act of wanting it both ways. They give their king credit when things go welwhen he had nothing to do with it but run and hide when things go bad during his reign.

I also am not a believer that Trump fundamentally will make America better. He will fail because he is a liar and he has an overblown ego that will cause him to fail. He told us that he is the only one who knows how to make America great again. Well Hitler told that to the Germans and where did it get that egotistical liar? You know the answer. Virtually always liars with overblown egos tear a country down instead of making it great.
