    Among the alleged "Patriots" whom some half-witted blogger thinks present a good case for 9/11 as an inside job is a retired Air Force Colonel George Nelson.

    Nelson paints himself to be an expert of some sort on aircraft crashes and crash investigation.

    He knew only one aspect of it well, which is to study recovered parts to look for clues as to why the crash occurred and how to prevernt further such crashes. He claims that the failure to do a reconstruct of Flt 77 is a violation of standard procedures.

    Total BS. We knew the instant it happened what caused the crash. It was a controlled flight into terrain. It was a criminal act. It does not matter in the least bit whether the brake drums had excede their service life or whether the jack screws were all properly lubricated. Despite what the lying sack of FAIL may claim, NTSB regulations do not apply when there is clear evidence of a crime.

    The whackadoodle is also trying to convince people that the government did the Murrah building. He cites "evidence" that pre-planted charges on interior columns brought most of it down. This is (luckily for him) not his original idea. It was taken from a lie started by a retired Air force general with ties to African terrorist organizations and, to the eye of a trained arson investigator and sometimes constructio laborer it is BS. Nelson is outside his AFSC, and stepping into mine.

    On top of that, even after it was long debunked, the moron kept posting to the internet that there were "pods" under the fuselage of the plane that hit the south thower.

    What a lying jerk.

    He has another aggenda than the promulgation of reality.

    As part of my degree I studied a year and a half of air crash investigation, and I can tell you with absolute certainty, that for an investigative body, whether it be the NTSB, EASA, ATSB, TAIC, or what ever, to reconstruct an aircraft in a hanger from its crash debris is very, very rare. I can only cite two airline accident in which this was done, Swiss Air Flight 111, and TWA Flight 800. Both were done because they had no idea what caused either aircraft to go down. That is the only reason they would do it. As lefty has already pointed out, 9/11 was controlled flight into terrain via unlawful interference. They didn't need to reconstruct an aircraft.
