We borderline being 'snobbish' when we lord over Germany what we've got.

Face it, in country where black and grey are colours... What do you expect?
These are a simple people perhaps not yet ready for their fellow man since their fellow man comes in many forms with many different religions and beliefs.

Our poor are your middle class. Poverty line in Germany is obviously different to a 3rd world country like yours.

My explanation? We are a class society in Germany. Always were. The bigger question is, why is your middle class what is our poorest class?

You dont have more. You have mostly ****. Your country has no history and no culture. All pictures i showed are from one german state: Thüringen.

If i want show all of Germany i can bring pictures from the Alps, to the Heide and to the coast.

Why should i? I have the luck to live in the best country in the world.

I actually would feel disgusted to live in a dirty place like you do:

In many aspects i believe for large parts of your people death is an act of mercy to escape their situation.

@Sobo I'm fond of you, your username rhymes with Soho :) (That's cool) - but I'd let you into a little secret.
I love my country because my country has the rights on minorities protecting them from persecutions and, in my country, France and Ireland are our neighbours and in London, for tourists translations goes English, French (in that order French always follows English as the second language here, then it goes German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic etc.. etc.. So when my country looks at Europe, we're looking at France because UK is tied to France in deals and treaties and history and, is 21 miles from Dover, England over the English Channel.
So when my country compares its self, it's on fundamentals. Yes, we agree with human rights. But the French Republic have the rights of the majority. UK's rights of the minority help a country, not destroy itself, but unite.
Germany.... You have the honour of being the country us Brits love to hate in FIFA, football/soccer...
I am well aware that, Germany might have it's own rivalry with someone else, perhaps Spain? (I don't know)... - I'm not German I'm British and I'm well aware there's a whole world outside of the UK that think different of the world and the UK etc.. etc.. (If they've even heard of the UK).
But there is nothing more an England supporter loves to see than England beating Germany.
It's 2017, yes, we have terrorism where I'm from, but I've, with my own 2 eyes have seen world leaders. When I was in year 4 in primary school at a comprehensive in a leafy suburb of South London in the London Borough of Croydon, Surrey (so a Croydon school) on the border with The London Borough of Bromley, Kent (but we're all in London in London Boroughs) (I was probably 9 years old) and a field trip saw Nelson Mandela meet the Queen in Horse Guards Parade, London... I'd be lying if I had heard of Nelson Mandela that day, I was maybe 9, and... I remember my older brothers and sisters had, but I didn't know who he was, but went anyway and got to see it with my whole class and a bunch of other lucky schools from... I remember we sat next to this school from Brixton, but I don't know how far everyone else travelled. (- Brixton, London Borough of Lambeth is the town over from Croydon). - If it wasn't for being from London...
I'd never have learned who Nelson Mandela was when I was 9.
I sat next to the only African kid 'Terry' :) and he was from Kenya and was in my class and his family were living in London en route to the US and his family were dealing with Green Cards and all of that and he came and went and came back then went and last I heard is now American... Terry went nuts with excitement and enthusiasm. Terry, from Kenya, had heard of Nelson Mandela...
That's just one story I've got of being from the city that started it all :p .
I'd spare you the details of any intimacy, but I once showed this German/Bavarian Scientist around London and, she was nice enough, but it felt like...
:) - It felt like I was showing around somebody from the old country...
I'm a Londoner. I've seen black people, Asian people, Indian people, do this - Showing people who's flown in from the old country, London - I found myself feeling like that showing this German woman around London. I'm not German, but I am white/European... So ethnically, I'd say we were about the same, but culturally, because of where I'm from; -
I feel like, black people, white people, brown people, yellow people are my people too, and that's what I love about London.
    It's diversity.

What do you love about your country?

I love our history and our culture.

I love our germanic tribe leaders like Arminius who destroyed Rome. I love our emperors like Barbarossa or Heinrich I. who forged the German empire. I love our artists like Dürer and Cranach. Beethoven. Our thinkers like Kant, Hegel and Nietzsche.

I love our military history like the fact that the muslim Ottomans wrecked souther europe for centuries but it took just one encounter with german troops to erase the Ottoman army from the face of Europe. Not one was left alive.

I´m proud for great prussian kings like Friedrich II and i´m most proud for the fact that no nation in the world brought up more in science and engineering than germany.

The bike, jet engine, x-ray, computer, car, rocket engine, chemical synthesis, vaccine were developed in Germany.

I´m athelete myself and went to sport school and compete and get sponsored and i never encountered a Brit in my league, so i dont know what it means to beat a british, since they are usually not good enough to reach my level. I dont see the Uk as competitor. I actually like one part of it: Scotland. I alays want visit the Isle of Skye.

    Don't laugh...

    But I'm a guitarist...

I'm a fan of music that I like.

I like what I like... - I just never knew it was from where I'm from.
I never knew Jimi Hendrix had ever been to the UK - but I loved his stuff...
Turns out he lived here, toured here, became famous here, and his first international band, are from here.
He also tragically passed here R.I.P Jimi Hendrix... That one sucked. but, he recorded Purple Haze on Dean Street and Television was invented on Frith Street (but that one wasn't as good as the American Marconi system)... and...
I am spoilt, I have very nice guitars at my fingertips here...
    And yeah.
I first left England to go to Philadelphia, PA, USA...
I saw the plaque the Queen/my queen put there herself (and it's always nice to see something you're familiar with when you're so far from home) and... I'm proud of America, and what my country helped create.

All pictures but two I showed - are photos I made myself by camera or my phone. What you did - googled stuff up.

And speaking of images - wow..! A framed picture of a village during early spring..! Googled up. By.. "russia poverty". What is your homeplace name you said..? Thüringen? Buckle up - time to match seasons!

And now let's match conditions that the village on your picture goes through in Ferbruary-March:
...and now combine, take right angle, and...

The Thüringen you'd not want to go to.

Every place can de decribed as a shιthole, if you picture it 'properly'. So, are you done arguing?

...and by the way. Your poor are still poor. But if they can get better living conditions in my country for money they have - hell, my uncle basically has non occupied apartments for rent.

I wonder why four gals from my country were not very chatty with locals. But theories aside - you admitted yourself, you didn't talked to them. You have no idea what was their story.

And you know, some people just have problematic hair - especially teenagers. Had such problems myself until spent half of year using shampoo for horses.

And seriously, judging about a whole nation by four exchange students whom you did not even talked to. Really. Like, wow.

Well, we're having more or less serious talks there. Sometimes. Rick and Morty is just not exactly thing that fits for them. There are some other posters and threads where they fit, where people just cospaly excrement-throwing apes. Trust me - there's plenty of threads of such kind.

Well, @Sobo lacks tolerance for Muslims.
It's hardily fitting that an AFD supporter should hide their country's Nazi ways and claim others like America or UK are dirty and racist.

Perhaps there's not enough mosques so these people haven't interpreted well with Islam.

No, the only thing that matters is NATO, keeping America in, Russia out and Germany down.

Poland don't want to listen to a Europe controlled by Germany.

NATO are firm however, as I said, to keep America in, Russia out, and Germany down.
    That's how it is.

You failed then. We already rule over Europe and treat Poland like a colony.
