I hate those FB "kid gets bullied but then this happens" videos. not because I don't support a kid who really is getting bullied, getting the help they need, but because, not all the kids are actually getting bullied in the video. Key words like "bullied" serve as click bait. The term "bully" has been watered down to a meaningless term, almost. Whenever there is a fight in school, there is always a parent of a kid up here claiming their child was the victim of bullying prior to the fight, so the 10 day suspension for fighting shouldn't happen. We had a huge issue a year ago at a school... 2 girls had some middleschool girl drama going. The 1 girl, waited for the 2nd girl to walk out of the room and when she did, she snuck up behind her grabbed her hair, and proceeded to bash it into a locker, and the concrete. The 2nd girl was taken to the hospital. The issue was, the 2nd girl's family claimed she was bullied by the girl that jumped her. The 1st girl's family claimed this was retaliation for the 2nd girl bullying the first. There was absolutely a crime, and the girl was charged with a felony... and rightfully so... but this is what occurs when you tell everyone that everything is bullying. two girls talking trash about each other mutually, is not a bullying situation. Not just "oops, I forgot to feed it" or "he got out and I found him dead in the road"..... he snapped the turtle's neck either way, obviously, he was a weird kid and no one like him. On a Bullying campaign, the presenter asked all the 5th graders to anonymously write the name of who they thought was the school bully. overwhelmingly, the 5th graders wrote down the turtle killer's name. He wasn't a bully, he was an ass. He may also be a future psychopath, but he wasn't a bully. Kids are told, anyone they don't like... is a "bully"
I want to see what happened BEFORE the video. And this bully looked smaller than the girl. I HATE bullies by the way, but whenever I see, "Girl beats up boy...." I want to see the sequence of events leading up to it. Great knees though...but by the way, that's technically illegal in professional MMA. Just saying=) School yard fights have no rules though, hehe.
