It says in the bible that God decides the rulers. Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves." It was Paul that wrote Romans, not God. But if you consider that God put it in the minds of voters to make Trump president, freedom of choice is out the window. Is it only certain people that have destiny? Like Trump, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus....or are we all destined to be what we are? If everything is God's imagination, his sense of humor is fantastic! He made me, and that's hilarious.
Not to be that guy (I'm always that guy) but does the passage say that this is true of authority in general, or just the authority that held power over Rome (or maybe anywhere) at the time of writing?
Unfortunately - the passage is referring to authority in general although it is understandable why Paul wrote that as he wanted to make Christianity more acceptable to the Romans. Either way ... there is nothing "inspired" about that passage.
The same God that presided over lowly Corporal Hitler becoming dictator of Germany has now given us the racist draft dodging con man Trump...For a supreme being, this guy is really doing a piss poor job in my opinion.
The sign only covered less than 20% of America. Guess That proves conclusively Trump isn't going to make it. Thanks for posting.
You might want to take a look at AboveAlpha's Multiverse Theory because it implies that there may be other time lines in which Hillary is President....... and if so... then the DennisTate in that other version of applied Multiverse Theory would be responsible to pray for her........ even if I was thoroughly un impressed by what she would be doing by now! http://www.politicalforum.com/index...cal-implications-of-multiverse-theory.424926/
