    Like what?

The Obama administration pays out potentially Billions in bogus refunds to illegal aliens and in the same breath wants to raise taxes to pay for their blunders? This is why we need a more permanent solution.

Obama promised we could keep our health plans and Doctors, we couldn't and it cost us and the taxpayers a lot more than $5 billion, so what's your point? At least the wall will keep enough people out it will save us more than it costs in Health, Education, Welfare and Law Enforcement for illegals.

DESTIN, Fla. — A triple amputee Air Force veteran and motivational speaker is asking the 63 million Americans who voted for President Donald Trump to chip in $80 apiece for a border wall.

The total would meet Trump’s request for $5 billion to build a wall, with $40 million to spare. As of Monday morning, Brian Kolfage had raised more than $16 million for a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico.

quaint? no standard operating procedure. Whataboutery is the last lame defense of the indefensible. Along with the obligatory accusations of hypocrisy.

It is exploitation(it's also the same argument of one Chris Matthews) and its the 21st century version of slavery but this one affects an entire nation. Because if we go the Liberal route, they will eventually become the majority, grant themselves the exclusive rights and we will in all but name become the Extended States of Latin America.

Even at a minimalist proposition, the extended financial competition will probably not be met with the same number of job creations. Americans will struggle to be employed and we will reverse a great deal of our gains. We know this, from the tragedy of the EU. The USA will become the new EU. Bureaucratic, oppressive, low wages for its citizens and if we're lucky maybe we get a social program as good as theirs.

The government spends $7 million dollars a minute. Even if shutting the government down for 2 weeks saves $1.5 million a minute would yield $35 billion in savings, more than enough to build the wall with the savings. The go fund me page won't matter.

Sorry, the Obama administrations is just such a rich source of real whopper lies. It's just too much fun pointing out the lies the left accepts and the ones they won't.

LOL! That's 0.036% of what the wall is projected to cost (the real cost will probably be 3 times that when all is said and done). I guess conservatives don't really want to pay up for their beautiful big wall. They'll need Mexico and Democrats to chip in. The question: How to do that?

We already accepted it was a lie, you guys are the only ones still caught in the past while an even worse President lies consistently, constantly every day.

Sure... since you didn't read it, it's some ideas and opinions on real border security from a Congressman from Texas... interesting

Not reading stuff from CNN really leaves you at the starting line when the gun goes off ..

I've clicked Breitbart before.. (then showered afterwards)..

The Government shut down of course. The US Government spends about $7 million dollars a minute. Even if shutting down the Government saves only $1.5 million dollars a minute, a 2 week shut down would yield about $35 Billion in savings. That's enough to build it and maintain it for years to come.

Obama moved money around ad nauseum to fund Obama Care via continuing resolutions and simply not passing a dedicated budget. Guess you don't remember that.

You forgot that the government shutdown of course excludes social security checks being sent to people and other essential services being still provided by the government. Also, the government employees who were furloughed are paid back later on for the work that they did not do during the shutdown.

ummm....those Fed workers will be paid once the "shutdown" is over. There are no savings from the shutdown whatsoever.
