Exactly, Trump wasn't trying to dig up dirt, he was trying to get them to pay attention to the Biden dirt already there.

Obstruction, emoluments, witness intimidation, election interference, campaign finance violations, fraud, profiteering from office, bribery... all impeachable offenses. Several congress critters have said there are as many as 22 charges currently.

Then continue your charade if you need to.
You'll look bad and Trump will serve the rest of his term, minimum

Does this mean that the Democrats will continue this charade into his second term as well? If the Dems stopped playing these juvenile political games and began looking after the nations business they'd likely do a lot better.

Look at the disastrous candidates they have. That's why they feel impeachment is their only real option.

Allowing Trump to investigate a political opponent harms rather than helps our country.

If he has broken the law then the DOJ should prosecute him. No one should be above the law.

I have no problem with an investigation into Biden so long as it was based upon credible evidence. Yet Trump should have no part in setting up or participating in an investigation into a democrat he may be facing in the next presidential election. It is unethical.

Those who support Trump will say the left are guilty of greater corruption and bias while liberals will say that republicans are guilty of greater corruption and bias. In a race to rock bottom 2nd place is nothing to brag about. Tribalism makes partisans predictable.

If the republican senators choose to jettison the US Constitution and resort to making a partisan decision, that'll most likely come back and bite them in the butt in the upcoming election, but have it your way. The democrats will most likely milk it for all it's worth and the republicans will only have themselves to blame.

is that it? Unethical? Well, Trump is unethical person. Was he ethical, Hillary be a President today.

It is Democrats who lead and show what being unethical is all about, and I’ll happily give Trump a pass on many things, so long as it were Democrats who did it first.

    shocked?

Shocked? No, as tribalism makes partisans predictable. One set of rules for the "in" group and another for the "out" group. Politics is Machiavellian in that the ends justify the means. Any shocked by your statement are ignorant about human nature.

If they pass along an impeachment to the Senate, Joe and Hunter Biden, Chris Heinz and Devon Archer are sure to be subpoenaed along with a depositions by the owner of Burmisa and Shokin the fired prosecutor Biden bragged about.

Are not many already testifying against the President?

High Crimes and Misdemeanors are a prerequisite for impeachment. So would not due process, by default, be a prerequisite as well? Or is a Banana Republic what you want our country to become?
