Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May vs Al Gore.

?

What do you think caused Mr. Al Gore to virtually ignore the option of turning deserts green?

  1. Ignorance of how much H2O was being ADDED to Antarctica.

In 2008 I sent Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May my municipal level campaign writing. She replied to me personally through Facebook and wrote that "turning deserts green was one part of a full response to climate change."

I thought that that was an exceptionally good and courageous answer..... so although I was conflicted and was used to voting for her opponent M. P. Peter MacKay..... I decided at the last moment to cast my ballot for her instead.

Mr. Al Gore on the other hand seems to have been intellectually dishonest and / or ignorant and / or scared of somebody in influence in his not referring to this option because Mr. Carl Cantrell and I did warn him and the Virgin Earth Challenge team about this option.

My two somewhat humorous submissions for $25 million Virgin Earth Challenge.

Mr. Carl Cantrell and I told Mr. Al Gore and the other panel members of the Virgin Earth Challenge back in 2007 about this option so..... he should not have been ignorant about this possible response to climate change....... that would directly combat rising ocean levels.

Once somebody knows how much H2O is being added to Antarctica..... should they not realize that a Carbon Tax or Cap and Trade System will do virtually nothing for a century toward addressing the threat of rising ocean levels?

How much longer will central Antarctica save our coastal communities?

Here is a question that should be on the minds of all Canadians:

If average ocean levels rose by eight to ten cms (3 or 4 inches) could high tide...

... rise by one meter in the Isthmus of Chignecto in Nova Scotia, Canada?
This question is logical because the geography of Canada's Bay of Fundy produces the world's highest tides. In my part of Nova Scotia in Guysborough County there is very little funnelling of tidal waters......... so high tide is only about one to one point five meters above low tide.

In the eastern area of the Bay of Fundy high tide levels are up by ten to fifteen meters.

    ........

Here is the win - win - win - win response to this that I'm proposing:

Should Sorek 2 be in Australia or California?
