From the moment we learned that the Las Vegas killer used a bump stock on his rampage, we knew good and well that anti-gun zealots were going to try and make them illegal. It’s as inevitable as the sun rising in the east.

However, you also had to know that gun grabbers weren’t going to be content to stop at that. No, they want a lot more.'

    Yes...even a muzzle loader....

typical lunacy, ignorance and shameless oppotunism....I for one can't even consider almost anything a gun control advocate says..their lies, hysterics, manipulation and bait switch tactics have exhausted me and I have no trust in them whatsoever

First the claim is that only muzzle-loaders are protected by the second amendment. Now they claim that muzzle-loaders need to be restricted and regulated like any other firearm because they are too dangerous to be legally accessible in their current manner. There is no consistency to be had anywhere.

Until you stop liking the idea of killing one another so easily and legally threse nowhere to go with this

Unlike the rest of the civilised world you like the idea of killing easily and easy access to guns facilitates that. Why do you like it that way ?

Sometimes, people need to kill other people.
    Thus, the 2nd Amendment.

Bump stocks are legal in the UK, I'll buy one when I get a Ruger.
Don't imagine I'll use it more than the once.

Shits and giggles, utterly no practical use to me whatsover and a **** configuration in general.

For the most part I can kill someone with my bare hands easily. A gun is not required for me to feel or be safe.
In some situations I feel safer for wearing a gun and in others less safe.

Generally, introducing a gun to a hot situation is a bad recipe. For the most part I prefer people not to know how fast I am able to kill them, I don't want those thoughts to enter their head, in case I have reason to. Surprise is key.

Gun acts as a deterrent. But it also attracts attention to you and places a killing tool in reach of your opponents. Not very Ninja.

I don't want to shoot anyone (I've already done that in real life in the military and believe me it isn't fun). Why do you ?

No they don't. There are multiple non lethal ways to subdue a person these days in the highly unlikely event that your life would ever be threatened.
Your second amendment is long obsolete. The Redcoats have gone home and the injuns have been pacified

We like the idea of defending ourselves easily, defending our rights and freedoms, and living in an America that our founders wanted for us. What we don’t like is disingenuous and dishonest comments that pretend we are some kind of barbaric nation, when 99.9% of our gun owners have never killed anyone.

1.5 million needless violent deaths over the last 50 years tells a very different story :(

Why do you feel that I do?

    Because I own a gun?

You joined the military to kill people mate, I didn't.

Ability and intention are not the same thing.

So why did you shoot someone if you didn't have to?
Answer: Because you felt you had to.

You've killed someone? Then you understand guilt. Don't let it kill you.
A righteous kill is a righteous kill. If you have done your best in a bad situation, good enough. Sleep easy soldier.

Mark Duggan's killer, committed suicide last month. Choose life. Take your poison guilt and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

America has a very high profile in the world.
We see your mass murders on our TV's.
    Hence we have an opinion.

My opinion is.... you have an insanely high number of them.
It's a ****ed up society, but it is what it is. Also the good outweighs the bad significantly.

Criticising Americans is not "hating America". It is simply, criticism.
Try not to be petulant. No one is perfect, not even you.

I call some people "lumpers" you criticize or lump all Americans as being responsible for so many murders, when most murders take place in minority neighborhoods, gang and drug related turf Wars, that nobody wishes to or can address, these Ghettos account for over 97 % of all violent crime, the proposed gun control solutions affect only the vast majority of law abiding gun owners NOT committing any crimes, well over 98 % of the American population.

Proposed gun control is destined to fail as it does nothing to remedy the true problems responsible for crimes and murders, disarm the law Abiding and you get way more dead victims at the hands of criminals, this would only make matters worse.

It is assumed by yourself that those who are defending legal firearms ownership, actually enjoy and look forward to the prospect of killing others? It cannot possibly be anything but a desire to kill?

What leads to the belief on the part of yourself that the united states is actually a civilized nation?

Spare me the self-righteousness. Your denial to the contrary, violent crime exists in every part of the country (even in the UK; more, even, than it exists in much of the United States). Innocent people get targeted and assaulted every day, all across the world. I've seen the CCTV footage from England of people beset by gangs and beaten nearly to death with no means of self-defense; left maimed, crippled, and brain-damaged.

Self-defense is one of the most fundamental rights of humanity. Why do you want to strip people of it?

Sorry, but in today's world of gang violence and terrorism, non-lethal isn't enough. Sure, I have studied unarmed defense tactics and I carry a non-lethal alternative as well as a defensive sidearm, and depending upon the circumstances I'll use it.... but there are circumstances where the best and only response is deadly force; especially when faced with multiple assailants. Your derisive comments about Redcoats and "injuns" just amounts to someone whistling past the grave yard.

I don't want to shoot anyone either, though I was forced to during my LE career. Given the choice between using deadly force to protect myself and my loved ones and being a helpless victim.... well, let's just say I know which side of that equation I want to be on.

UBCs on private sales would increase the number of criminals seeking guns through straw purchases or illegal black market sales.
