BS. I have worked a lot of gun shows and have never seen any Either ATF or the media. A couple years ago or so the venues I work post on the rule signs at the entrances a FFLs and other sellers are required to comply with all federal and state laws and private sellers are advised to partner up with an FFL for a BC on a sale. At a gun show, we, will do that for no charge and many of the other FFLs I know that sell at the shows I attend will do the same as well. Regarding FFLs selling without a BC...there isn’t enough profit margin on gun sales to temp someone threatening their livelihood. Anyone buying the GCAs false narratives is either ignorant of what happens at gun shows or deliberately passing on falsehoods.
Since Michael Bloomberg did not turn over the supposed "evidence" to law enforcement in those states, or otherwise make it available to the FBI and ATF so that criminals prosecutions could proceed against the dealers for these supposed violations, such ultimately means no crimes were uncovered by this illegal sting operation that was carried out. If the video contained actual evidence of illegal activity, Michael Bloomberg himself would have been charged with various crimes in acquiring it, such as withholding evidence, obstruction of justice, inhibiting prosecution, and numerous other charges that would stem from his failing to turn the evidence over to the proper authorities.
Not really, the gun was never sold nor did it leave the store, the entire clip was scripted by a CNN producer who's son did the acting.
Because after the story ran, BATF's phones blew up and they did a follow up and discovered based on the 4473, the firearm was to sold to the kids mother, who stayed off camera. As such it was neither a private sale, nor did the child buy the gun. And by the way this isn't the first time CNN has been busted making up fake news on gun sales, on Tuesday February 21, 2018, CNN’s Chris Cuomo "Christopher C. Cuomo ✔ @ChrisCuomo · Feb 21, 2018 Isn’t the point that the kid’s age and lack of ID wasn’t a deterrent? and this isn’t all gun shops. Place I bought my shotgun basically goes farther than law requires and makes judgments about whom to sell to. Point is the system should be better" However per the prospective buyer, Cody Davis this is what actually happened. "The tweet stated, “I was able to buy an AR-15 in five minutes. I’m 20 and my ID is expired.” There’s only one problem: that never happened. The article itself states, “After [the sales representative] walked me through the paperwork, all five pages of it, I told him I changed my mind and wanted to think more before I bought an AR-15. He told me it wasn’t a problem and listed the store hours if I wanted to come back. I then said thank you and walked back to my car.”
years ago, when Obama was in office, Bloomberg's toadies had a tape where they claimed one of his agents, not from Ohio, came to an Ohio Gun show, and as a private citizen, bought a gun from a private seller. One of the Local AUSAs asked me to review the tape. I wrote a report recommending to US Attorney, Carter Stewart, USA for the SDOH that they issue an arrest warrant for the alleged buyer as well as Bloomberg since what was clearly going on was an an attempt to illegally buy firearms in violation of federal law, and Bloomberg was an accessory both before the fact and after the fact. no such charges were ever brought, turns out that it was all a lie after that, we never heard from that clown or his toadies, trying to do such a thing
I don't know if you ever watched CNN when Turner first launched the channel, I did and it was a hard core right wing news channel, literally way further right than what FOX News is today. But about the time Captain Outrageous married Hanoi Jane it began a slide to the left and like it's ratings continues that downward slide into a nothing burger.
