Are we to believe the word of someone that would search someone's belongings and then lie about why? I don't think I would.

    Context is everything.

Anybody who wears a MAGA Hat, unless it is at a Trump Rally, is asking for trouble.

    It is what it is.

And if all the tenants left she would be responsible for filling the empty rooms is what the landlord said. I am glad you agree.

Apparently you do not understand the nature of the conflict.

If she is leasing, she has a right to not be bothered in her use of the premise so long as no terms of the lease are violated. She can and should enforce her leasehold rights if she is sued. She would be in error to simply move. A month to month is different since the landlord rents for a month at a time. In that case the landlord simply does not allow her to keep renting.

This is a good example of why people lease and avoid month to month renting.

If she leaves, she is violating her lease terms. She is not the agent of the rest of the tenants.

Actually this whole thing falls on the landlord. There isn't anything in the lease stating she couldn't have firearms. His problem. I think he needs to get himself an attorney.

They had the same problem with the Obama hats. Anybody so stupid as to wear one asked for trouble.

The landlord wants her to leave. The landlord stated that whomever was left would have to find someone to fill the room or pay the rent. If she stayed then he would expect her to cover the rent for the other rooms or find more roommates. I think he screwed up.

"When Pirnie and her father rejected Lewis's request that she move out in the middle of studying for finals, Lewis responded by saying his request "was based strictly on practical and not idealogical (sic) terms." He then warned that if the other roommates moved out Pirnie would have to pay their rent."

It says in his response that he had spoken to his attorney. Didn't you read the thread and links?

    They even had Obama Hats?

I guarantee you, assuming that they did exist, it was an infinitesimally minuscule number compared to those Ridiculously UGLY Red and White MAGA Hats.

Ironically, the one thing that can help her are laws protecting tenants that liberals support and that her idol Trump would hate.

She had a violent boyfriend and may have had reasonable fears of being stalked. You have something against female empowerment?

As long as she owned the guns legally and was not making threats, waving them around, or leaving them all over the house than she is well within her rights to have them so long as it didn't violate a written contract with the landlord.

Her roommates have a reasonable right to live securely and without fear but so does Pirnie. When they went through her things they violated her sense of security and right to privacy. They took that from her when they took it on themselves to go through her belongings. Something that is completely unacceptable to do to anyone uninvited, especially from people who are virtually strangers. They could have asked her at any point but instead waited until she was away to invade her personal area and go through things that did not belong to them. Their right to security does not trump her right to privacy.

Or, maybe she believed in her constitutional freedoms. She was being naive: some people are slow to pick up on Left-Wing Fascism.

That is the equivalent of saying a girl is asking to be raped simply for what she is wearing. How about before assuming she wants sex you talk to her first? Same principal applies, instead of assuming something about this person how about you actually talk to them? Sorry, but you don't get to judge her intelligence after the comment you just made.

Intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, interference with contract ... . A good tort lawyer could probably find many more after interviewing her.

    Who says it wasn't?

Gunnies are getting more and more arrogant about this, but the ability to have and carry is just the first step. Eventually 6 gun "justice" will return and your life will be dependent on your fast draw. The Purge every day, this is what the gunnies want.
