I have been fine this year so far.

The last time I was really sick with flu was back in 2009 with the H1N1.

Interesting to hear this. I used to get the flu once every year or two or three. In 2009 while on a business trip to Raleigh, NC for a class I caught H1N1. I have not had a flu since and have only had one cold.

I will never forget getting sick with it. Started feeling bad and laid down and could feel it move through my lungs.

Yes northern hemisphere watch out... we had it during winter this year and it was horrible, was a first in quite a number of years for us, my son dragged it home from a school camp.

A number of people died here in Australia this winter from flu...
