These two outstanding physicists have proved that the universe had no reason
Thus, refuting the existence of the biblical god
    Sorry, Hawking passed away
Do you agree with the theory of Hawking and Krauss? Justify the answer.
From the point of view of the logical method of reduction, one should not complicate the simple. The origin of the universe is explained by the Great Explosion. God is an extra reason.
I agree with these physicists. And you? Justify the answer.

Science isn't a popularity contest. Opinions are meaningless. If a hypothesis turns theory and stands the test of time, we treat it as fact unless new evidence comes to light.

Science does not address the subjects of God or purpose. That is philosophy. So you posted in the wrong forum.

That said, I would bet :) that the universe existed as a 11-dimensional hypersurface that "collapsed" into the 3+1 dimensions we see today. [From String/Brane Theory]. There was no beginning. The Big Bang was simply a transition.

Hawking has proved that the cyclic universe is a lie. Because there are gravitational waves

Americans are smarter than Russians. They can not support conversation about physics on the forums.

I wasn't talking about a cyclic universe. And what do gravity waves have to do with it? Those are merely disturbances in space-time due objects with mass accelerating.

Have you talked about a stationary universe? That there is no beginning

I said the theory suggests it transitioned between 11 dimensions, to 3+1. Or it was 11 dimensions at one point, with the hidden 7 dimensions now manifesting as the fundamental forces.

    Define "universe"?
I say it is impossible to define. There is no end or beginning. There are no boundaries. Believe whatever you want to believe. It really doesn't matter.

Everything attempting to define "The Universe" is speculation making hypothesis the required label for all of it...including my take:

I find the Idea of the Back Whole compelling (yes I just made up the term) in which the "Singularity" is a word for the universe created by matter and information emptied by a Black Hole as something outside of itself.

Finally, I found like-minded people (American atheistic forum). Among Americans at least. I'm from Ukraine and Ukrainians are even dumber than Russians. I do not know any good Ukrainian forum at all. It's good that Ukraine has chosen the Western way of development. This is encouraging.

Nice qualifier in "the biblical god".

IMO, God created the entire Universe with all of its laws. From this creation came life and from life came intelligent life capable of studying God's creation. To study and understand the laws of the Universe is divine work. Both Hawking and Krauss, among many others before them like Einstein, did this work. The people who are Bible literalists are denying God's work that's right in front of them.

BTW, when you tell me what caused the Big Bang, let me know. I'm curious.

It is proved that the universe has no cause, the Earth was formed by gradual evolution, homo sapiens originated from the African homo erectus. There is no Buddhist god because Hawking denied the cyclical nature of the universe. On the Jewish site, the rabbi wrote about Hawking that he understands God's laws of nature. The reason for everything is God is the laws of nature. Indeed, God the Big Bang is an incontrovertible God. Such a God is like a pantheistic one. First there was a God-singularity, then everything was created. Yes, you can not refute God.

Genesis says God 'prepared' the universe for His creation, if you take a more literal translation.

God may simply (floabt) be part of the eternal universe.

Impossible to prove no reason. You may as well try to prove the materialistic view of reality is in fact truth. Or that philosophical idealism is the fundamental nature of reality.

I have listened to Krauss, His arrogance usurps what he reportedly believes in, science. He tend to express certainty when he cannot honestly do that. You have to get him into a corner before he will admit he is just giving an opinion, which cannot be proved in this case. But he tries to slip out of going there, into that corner, so you have to keep your eyes on him.

In other words...you do not believe the God written about in the Christian bible is accurate, but can change the Bible to allow your belief to remain regardless.
    ....neat...

Correct. Incorrect. You are free to believe the Bible is a complete fabrication with no historical fact, but that's been disproved too. What hasn't been proved are "magical" events.

I'm a Deist and believe that "miracles" are cheating the rules previously established at the Big Bang. You are free to believe that the Universe just "magically" appeared for no rhyme or reason and you are free to believe, as Interaktive posted, "It is proved that the universe has no cause", or you can just admit we don't know. There is no proof either way. That the only proof we have is that the Universe exists and it has a set of rules.....like a game.
