    A group of about 300 demonstrators attempted to force their way into two separate entrances of the Oregon State Capitol on Monday, outraged lawmakers were holding a special session closed to the public.

    The crowd was a loose collection of members of the Proud Boys, Patriot Prayer and other far-right groups, many of them are armed with pistols and rifles.

    A dozen more troopers arrived at the door, declared it an unlawful assembly, and pushed the crowd back, using some kind of deterrent in a series of “pop” sounds, at which point the protesters swarmed back out again, their eyes watering and coughing.

    Despite the chaotic protest, some protesters managed to continue selling pro-Trump merchandise at a tent set up outside the Capitol—including “Stop The Steal” sweaters. The tent, surrounded by Trump 2020 flags, also offered USA and Trump hats.

    More RW riots.... I'm fully convinced most of the 'rioting' over the summer was caused by idiots like these...

    Oh, sorry... I just read the paragraph in bold... this seems to be a simple RW fund raising effort.... I guess the concept of a bake sale or car wash is a little beyond them....

    Shouldn't Herr Trump call in his brownshirts?? Government buildings are in danger as we speak...

    300 people? Thems amateur numbers. Let me know they make to 3000 or, ya know, when the mass looting and arson happens. But as much as I despise these super-spreader assclowns, Ego, your attempt to equate them on any level whatsoever to the terrorist cells of BLM and ANTIFA is 100% fkin laughable my guy - like I literally laughed, you made me LOL IRL.

    In danger of what? Hearing citizens petition for a redress of their grievances? How much property damage did this "riot" cause? $0? Was anyone actively trying to burn down the building? If not, it seems like a poor comparison to the #BLM riots we've seen.

    Oh we aren't talking protesting, we're talking rioting - the OP set the tone check his own words. If you want to talk merits of protesting 'stop the steal' vs protesting '<insert career criminal> gets killed while committing a crime' then find someone else because IMO they're both moronic ideological echo-chamber circle-jerks.

    We should also blame them for all the murders in Chicago this year! I mean it just makes sense based on the OP.

    And to say any one person or group has a reason to protest while others don't is a failure to understand the freedoms of this country.

    Not being a traitor and calling fake news fake news brings out the bad in bad people. Trump actually improved almost everything, thus infuriating the left. But that's on them.

    No they didn't. But it was the rioting, destruction, arson, assault on officers, occupation, looting and ransacking that distinguishes them even farther from reason.

    What reason was that? And they didn't protest, they violently rioted, looted, burned, assaulted and murdered people. blm calls for dead cops and suddenly we have dead cops. blm terrorists.

    I'll never forget the hesitancy of many Republicans to condemn the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, even then many Republicans were supportive of violent militia groups, as lomg as they were anti- government.
