    Rabbit:
    "Your hypnosis is our fear.
Our fear is your hypnosis "
    Fazil Iskander "Rabbits and boas"

The press conference of Putin and Trump held after their tete-a-tete meeting in Helsinki brought to mind the story-story of Fazil Iskander "Rabbits and boas". The American president appeared in my mind as a meek rabbit, in a stupor under the hypnosis of a boa constrictor. What happened to the bravura arrogance, the chivalry of Trump? At some point, it seemed that Trump silently opened his mouth, and answered the questions asked for him by Putin. Trump obsequiously echoed everything that his political rival was broadcasting, and this despite serious and principled political differences, for which a long-awaited summit was held. I do not know the details of their conversation in private, and what Trump looked like, but judging by his behavior at the press conference, he thinks that there too, like a rabbit, with dilated pupils, he sat quietly under the gaze of Putin's tiny prickly eyes, afraid to contradict the words: We held a referendum in strict accordance with international law of the Charter of the United Nations. For us, the Russian Federation this issue is closed. All!". I would have found the answer to Trump's question and reminded Putin that Moscow has a rich experience in conducting referendums, for example in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia in 1940. Then, just like in the Crimea, the Russians first introduced troops, after which referendums took place, at which the peoples of these countries "voluntarily" expressed their desire to join the USSR. However, it is possible that this fact is unknown to Trump. I wonder how Putin would parry if Azerbaijan, by analogy with the Crimea, introduced an army to Dagestan and held a referendum on voluntary entry into Azerbaijan on the grounds that the Derbent Khanate was part of Azerbaijan?
At a press conference, the American president was afraid to even say the words "Ukraine" and "Crimea." But the main reason for anti-Russian sanctions is the aggression of Russia against Ukraine, the guarantor of independence, which, by the way, is the country of President Trump. Involuntarily the question arises, but why did Trump flew to Helsinki? Is it really just to nod your head, agreeing with Putin's words, "for us the issue is closed."
It seems that Putin really has dirt on Trump (1). How else can one explain his complete unanimity with Putin in the fact that Russia did not interfere in the American elections, contrary to the assurances of the American special services. True, far from Putin, already in America, Trump publicly disavowed his statements, quite simply, refused all that he said at a press conference in Helsinki in the presence of Putin.
True was the rabbit Fazil Iskander, if in our case with Trump and Putin in the words of a rabbit, replace "fear" with "compromising evidence."
What do you think, from the photograph, who has dirt on whom?
