Not necessarily. And the data clearly shows that fatalities are not following positive tests today. The pandemic is over in Sweden and is winding down in the US.

You are ignoring the science and history of epidemiology.

It's not over in Sweden (in fact just the opposite) and we are far from winding down here.

In fact infections hit record daily numbers just the other day

But then I guess when you rely on eye doctors for your "science" on pandemics...you say stuff like that

You were just told that deaths lag infections (by weeks) and you post THAT?

Positive tests are increasing but daily deaths are not. The pandemic is over in Sweden.

    I rely on data.

    Nothing needs to be said

Oh and in Sweden the pandemic is over?

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/

Someone should tell them because I don't think they know that

I have posted the worldometers data link showing the daily data trends. Daily fatalities are not increasing. Daily positive tests have been increasing for weeks which is sufficient time for any increase in daily fatalities to occur.

Yes. The pandemic in Sweden is over. The daily fatalities data clearly shows that.

You just quoted a post which explains to you that infections lag fatalities.

You shot your own bullshit in the ass

And after the ~ 2 week lag period daily fatalities are not trending up. These positive tests are with young healthy people who are not getting sick. They produce antibodies that kill the virus and render these people immune.

    Read this slowly.

Fatalities LAG infections by as much as 6 weeks

Tell me you are unaware of that FACT

And infections in Sweden are as high now as the worst part of the pandemic

Oddly...they don't seem to know that

    https://www.rte.ie/news/coronavirus/2020/1027/1174065-covid-world/

Sweden has told residents in the south of the country to severely limit their social interactions after a surge in the number of cases last week and warnings that the situation is likely to get worse.

The Swedish public health agency already told residents in the northern Uppsala region last week to avoid public transport and not to meet people outside their household for a period of two weeks.

The same advice has now been issued in the southernmost Scania region, but for a period of three weeks.

Another point not discussed there is that the human immune system is more complex than just antibodies. Maybe too complex to be discussed in public in certain circles.

Yes. There is T cell immunity which may account for a significant part of the population being immune to Covid-19.

As a layman who reads alot, I recall that the Swiss were discussing that many months ago. Natch, the MSM was silent.

Thise are recommendations not based on daily fatalities rate.

    That certainly leaves you out:

"The numbers are manipulated to keep as many in a state of terror as possible.

Fabulously bogus PCR tests, a complicit media and people wearing masks keep the narrative alive, even as many have learned they've been fooled.

Slowly but surely the herd immunity grows"

As I said at the time, the gaslighting continues.

Sweden now knows how to protect the vulnerable. 99% of their fatalities were above the age of 50. 96% of their fatalities were above the age of 60. 90% of their fatalities were above the age of 70. What the data shows is that young healthy people are testing positive but those people are not transmitting to the vulnerable people. Sweden is doing exactly what the Great Barrington Declaration recommends.

How do you explain New Zealand? If you don't comply with the government directive to get a covid test the NZ government will put you in a concentration camp. This from a country with a total of 25 Covid fatalities. Never waste a crisis. If you don't have a crisis make one up.

Was there a point in there somewhere?

NZ got the disease under control quickly. That's a win.

It's also not a country where paranoid fantasies make much sense...

Yes. There is a point. NZ is only postponing the inevitable and at the same time imprisoning their citizens for refusing to be tested. There is no reason to test healthy people with no symptoms. There is every reason to protect people who are at high risk.
