Statues are not racist. Statues are monuments of history. Statues are part of history. Were we to follow you, we would raze Mt. Vernon, Monticello and Montpelier to name 3 sites. They contain to this day clear proof of slavery. We would rip away Lincoln's since he divided this nation. We now fight each other. Abe the outlaw is behind this so his statue in DC must be removed and replaced by a non killer of Americans.

The statues of Robert E. Lee are magnificent. Good men and women constructed them. They did not erect them over race.
