HILLARY CLINTON LEADS GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES, POLL SAYS

By David Jackson | USA TODAY | Oct 27, 2011

“People can't help but wonder what might happen if Hillary Rodham Clinton ran again for president.

A new Time magazine poll shows Clinton easily defeating the major Republican candidates, were she somehow to become the 2012 Democratic nominee for president.

Clinton leads Mitt Romney, 55% to 38%; Rick Perry, 58% to 32%; and Herman Cain, 56% to 34%, among likely voters in a general election.

(Time magazine notes, "The same poll found that President Obama would edge Romney by just 46% to 43%, Perry by 50% to 38% and Cain by 49% to 37% among likely voters." Clinton's leads are bigger.)

Of course, it's easier to be popular when you're a global diplomat rather than a down-in-the-pit politician.

Clinton - who lost the 2008 nomination fight to Obama - says she has no interest in another White House run.

But there's always the 2016 election...”

    ……..

Well, we have a glimmer of truth in this upcoming election cycle, where we have an incumbent president who has a magnificent oratory skill, a crowd of rundown, baggage-carrying GOP candidates that will give any voter a migraine headache just deciding which moron will they put their X by, when here comes a whiff of fresh air…

The poll shows that Hillary Clinton would beat every GOP candidate with ease, showing precisely how Americans feel about the 2012 elections. There is a groundswell out there to have Hillary take this poll seriously as it shows how Americans are yearning for someone acceptable, and one who can possibly win.

The GOP platform is a joke with old worn out losers, President Obama can no longer go on his laurels of speaking skills, because no one believes him anymore, and Hillary should run as an Independent to give the party more relevance, clarity, and a huge chance to bring in a third party that will rattle a few Washington talking heads…and she would win!!

    HILLARY !!! HILLARY !!! HILLARY !!!

Yes, that's what we need, a CFR-kneeling, warmongering, globalist, evil collectivist witch.

Hillary should just go bury her tired face in a hole somewhere.

Good luck with that. I'm sure you can tell us the last time a party switched horses when they had a living incumbent and won...

Can you imagine the backlash against the Democrat Party if Hillary ran in place of Obama? They'd lose the black vote and would never win another election again.

GOLL-EEEE! are you saying there isn't enough room in America for a third political party?

IMO, Hill doesn't owe the Democratic Party anything. They sold her out in quick order once they had the financial backing for Obama.

    1) I'm not talking about Hillary running IN PLACE of Obama. I'm talking about her running against Obama from within the confines of the Independent Party. A 3 party political system is just what this country needs
to keep everyone honest.....of course the republican party will disappear as in a bad dream, but hey...progress is always difficult.

Good luck with that. Ross Perot got 19% of the popular vote in 1992 and ZERO Electoral votes. But just so you know, I always vote 3rd Party in Presidential elections. It's important to the country. Hillary though? She's a Democrat to the core. I can't imagine her leaving the Party.

Well Hillary has alot to offer the country, especially in this time of crisis. Alot of people are giving donations even tho she says she has no interest in running for president at this time. But there is a definite groundswell for her nomination.

Altho she has been a totally loyal Democrat, how loyal was the Democratic Party to her? She had the nomination in her pocket until Obama got the financial backing he needed. She was always my first choice and Obama was a poor second.

I too will be voting Independent in 2012...I am writing in Bernie Sanders, as he makes more sense than every other candidate and President Obama....

There have been many candidates that have swtiched parties after being treated badly, and I think it should be sn expression of their being true to their ideals rather than being a 'clone' for the party.

Either this poll is crap or the American people have their heads up their asses.

There is no difference between Obama and Shrillary.

They both want to raise taxes.

    They both are anti-2nd Amendment.

    They both want national healthcare.

They both want a bigger more centralized government.

    Until the teleprompter breaks down...

    RON PAUL!

    No, wait:

Except for Ron Paul, the GOP offerings suck, that's for sure. I'd rather see Hillary than Obama, but that's not saying much since they both reek with the stench of corruption.

    PUKE! PUKE! PUKE!

The woman is worn out. She probably does more work in a day than Obama does in a month.

She said she won't run and she probably means it, based on the the knowledge obtained as an insider of that position which is unique to her on past experience.

HILARious premise. The Dims threw Hillary under the bus for the bright & shiny Barack and now they want her back. The 'third party' fantasy is just a charade to keep from hurting Obama's widdle fewins.

What a crock. Libs are so desperate... it's actually rather pathetic. :puke:

(But you gotta know Hillary is lovin it! Bet her & Bill watch Fox News and laff their asses off.)

You know the republicans/T-baggers are desperate when they have not one candidate that they want and one that could actually win, and time is running out for them. They already have lost the election......

What's she going to run as a Socialist or Communist? Nobody is going to be stupid enough to consider her anything but far left.

Not sure who you profess to be speaking for, but most of us think ANY of the GOP candidates are 100 times better than the incumbent.

Stick to your fantasy story, though. It's what the DNC expects of you.

    .....

    1) If you thought ANY of your candidates were so great, you wouldn't still be looking for someone that could actually win...will there be someon new this week? It IS getting late, you know....

    2) Wow...are you ever overreaching...how would YOU know what the DNC expects of me? You know what you can do with your fantasy story...:-D

It's funny how none of those numbers mention Ron Paul.

    :-D

There is no "Independent Party". Independents are people without a party.

    You so funny!

Yeah..."beautiful", in the same way that Michael Moore is "trim" and in "excellent condition". That sort of "beauty" could cause you hate your eyeballs for what they see.

But really, this baloney all makes me wonder why the country needs Hillary to run if the GOP is putting up such a stable of losers and stiffs against Obama. Get your story straight, lefty.

.........but as yet, someone hasn't been able to post a non photo shopped picture showing what's up her skirt. But I'm sure it won't stop attempts to place her in the worst possible light, because that's what Republicans do since that can't attack her for the job she is doing, only for the party she represents.

This is the best thing for America. After Obama wins in 2012 (easily I might add, especially with economic markers all trending upwards over the next 12 months), its clear to me that Biden can't be the guy in 2016. And since the GOP will still be trotting out the likes of Romney, Perry, Cain, Palin and other rubes, along with the even worse Jindal, Cantor and possibly (if he doesn't die of a heart attack) Christie, that makes a Clinton runaway a distinct possibility.

Oh man, how awesome. 8 years of Obama followed by 8 years of Hillary. That would be epic.
