When you say Democrat, you are talking about the South, which is trump country now. So if you want to draw parallels, that is an exact conversion. It would be more properly called the Southern US Model.
Wrong again, both the south and northern democrats voted for racist laws. It's the history of your party. The left clings to your false notion that democrats turned into republicans en-mass which never happened.
Southern Democrats. The south ran the party back then. They are still the South, they just changed names. Trying to imply some kind of link to modern Democrats is dishonest, childish, and irrational.
Yet northern democrats also voted with them so... Democrats in the south stayed democrats like Al Gore's father, they just changed tactics after they discovered they could get black votes.
Trying to imply that modern republicans are past democrats that stayed democrats shows how deceptive you are trying to be. It tells us all about you.
