Hochul Thinks The Trump Voters Are Clowns

CNN Host Jake Tapper said to Kathy Hochul, D-Gov NY . . .
“So Donald Trump, former President Trump, he’s holding an event shortly in the Bronx in an effort to attract voters of color, Latinos and African-Americans. Historically, a loyal voting block for Democrats, especially African-Americans but the truth is, this is, this is a sport, this is a politics of margins. What more do Democrats need to do to solidify and mobilize their base?”

“Well I’ll tell you, what won’t make a difference at all Jake, and that is for Donald Trump to be the ringleader and invite all his clowns to a place like the Bronx. New York will never, ever support Donald Trump for president.”

A rally for former President Donald Trump drew a large crowd at Crotona Park in the Bronx Thursday night.

NY1 reporters on scene said the turnout was in “in the thousands.”

 

She wasn't talking about GOP voters, she was talking about his GOP Congress stooges wearing matching outfits, even red ties, who came to NY to make a show while castrating themselves in their zeal to suck up to their great MAGA leader. Are they clowns? Absolutley.

 

It's not an accident that words like clowns and deplorables get used to describe The Following. Whether it is wise from a political standpoint to do so is another matter. I'm not sure what the best descriptor is for people who support a man who orchestrated a failed coup, raped a woman, stole from a charity, cheated on his taxes, and paid hush money to cover a sexual affair with a porn star to influence an election. Board rules prohibit the word that comes to mind.

 

Regardless of how you want to describe it, the turnout for Trump is impressive and for Biden, not so much.

 

If you look at the turn-out for Trump and compare it to a turn-out for Biden -- you see who the people want for their next president. Both men now have a record as the country's leader -- Most now prefer Trump. The crowds and the polls tell it all. Biden had his chance and blew it -- he's toast.

 

The irony of this person calling others "clowns". lol

 

The popular vote is what shows who the people want for POTUS.

 

Trump is running for two reasons. Staying out of prison and exacting revenge on those who sought to hold him accountable for his alleged crimes. If you don't understand that you understand nothing.

 

It's cute that trump adoring rightists still believe tht mango traitors crowds make any difference come November.

How did that work out for them in 2020 again?

 

If she wants to see a clown, she simply needs to look in a mirror.

 

Everyone wants to stay out of prison. I know I do. Trump should follow something similar to the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as they do unto you". Revenge is soooo sweet. I hope he goes after a lot of evil people who have power over us.

 

When you have a bunch of radical women in Congress from your party, who all wear white, you are one to talk.

 

So he is your retribution. What a horrible reason to vote for a prez.

 

They were wearing white to demonstrate their support for a cause (reproductive rights of women), not to display fealty to their leader, or to audition for the VP spot. That's a big difference. I don't know, do you like beta males, who do public bootlicking for their great leader (not for a cause)? For most adults, imitation as flattery stopped being cool after high school. I expect more from elected officials.

They have probably tired of being called a basket of deplorables. But who could be more of a clown than Hochul, the engineer of bad justice policy?

 

Great reason as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I'll vote for Trump twice.

You mean Republicans wear red ties? It's not like that is anything unusual. Democrats frequently wear blue ties

 

You can thank yourselves for creating the current political environment.

 

I saw parts of Trump speech yesterday and I heard he spoke for over an hour and a half. First of all, he didn't yell at the audience and he didn't do a creepy whisper, but guess who does stuff like that? There is NO WAY Biden could ever talk for an hour and a half without being injected with some sort of jungle juice that will allow his to stand up that long. Second, when was the last time you saw Biden at a rally with the kind of crowds Trump draws?

Anyway, it always nice to see people like Hochul insult her own black, brown and yellow NY constituents. Remember, this is the politician who was turned away from the wake of one of her own fallen officers.

 

When talk of Trump's threat to America is voiced it's really The Following that poses the threat.

 

That's not how it will be taken, probably because she meant all Trump voters.

Considering 25,000 people showed up at the rally, in one of the bluest districts in the country, it was pretty stupid to say something like that.

 

They didn't just dress like him. They said what he told them to say to get around the gag order.
