No but they are required to disclose foreign contacts, as his lawyer admitted. Hilarious they trust the Russian govt more than our own

Back channels, yes. The way Kushner did it, no. He was hiding from US intelligence in order to communicate covertly with a foreign power known to be interfering with the election.

One thing I'll say for the right wing: You are consistent. You'll believe anything.

Hayden probably has more experience with US intelligence than anyone else alive.

On Fox News Harris Faulkner asked why would anyone from Trump's team need to set up a back channel with Russia if they were already colluding with them. Seems to me that's proof there was never any collusion to begin with.

What a ridiculous concept that would be a single connection from Russian leader and the Trump son-in-law!

The connections between Trump's dozens of minions and the hundreds of money and power trails with Russian operatives and money sources are diverse.

An essential element in making some REAL money instead if the 800 billion or more of money going into Trump family and the Russians is to have reliable and utterly secret communication with Trump and the Russians in order to siphon out some REAL money from the USA TO Trump, and also to keep all the Trump minions (like Tillerson, Pence, Priebis, and so many others) in line from grafting too much in their loot.

That looks to be the goal of Kushners discussions. That is why it could not be in any channel that could ever be known to any official source the could be ever audited.

Bullshit, He was a duplicitous liar when he overstepped his authority and declared "no prosecution" against Hillary Clinton.
And now we're learning all about the illegal spying he was up to for Obama...

That's more bullshit, as long as, Trump was patting him on the back and claiming he was doing a great job he was your boy and then when you didn't get the results you wanted now he isn't ****.

Really, what spying was he doing for Pres. Obama.

Good question.. Trump wasn't even in office yet.

"Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly came to the defense of Jared Kushner, saying it would be “both normal… and acceptable” to seek back-channel communications with Russia, but that if those communications used Russian equipment, that "would be considered to be … somewhat compromised.”

Any news or article against a Democrat or that is pro Trump you see it as real news.

Any news or article against a Republican or that is anti Trump you see it as fake news.

Considering she deleted 10s of thousands of emails from that server before it could be investigated, its almost guaranteed she DID compromise secure emails....hence why she deleted any record of them. These are facts. What people think Kushner was thinking is just made up B.S. I can say Obama has been thinking about how much he wants to destroy the country by allowing illegals to flood in and who's to say I'm wrong, since no one knows what Obama is thinking except Obama. or, we can just all be Hillary and claim, she never "intended" to do anything wrong....hehe. =) Because setting up a private server to run official SOS business from is meant to be transparent. /wall

Reports: Kushner Had Multiple Undisclosed Conversations With Kislyak, Discussed "Back Channel" Comms.....

On Thursday, reports surfaced that the FBI was looking into meetings that President Trump's son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, had with a Russian banker under investigation in the US and with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak.

On Friday, the Washington Post reported that Kushner had been involved in a December 1 or 2 meeting at Trump Tower between former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and Kislyak in which the prospect of setting up a "back channel" communication channel between the Trump transition team and the Kremlin was discussed.

The Post said its sources were "US officials briefed on intelligence reports," and that a former US senior intelligence official admitted that Russia, if it suspects a line is monitored, will sometimes feed false information through that channel to confuse US analysts, but that there was no clear benefit for Kislyak to feed false information at that time. He added that the idea “seems extremely naïve or absolutely crazy.”

Reuters also reported that "Officials familiar with intelligence on contacts between the Russians and Trump advisers said that so far they have not seen evidence of any wrongdoing or collusion between the Trump camp and the Kremlin. Moreover, they said, nothing found so far indicates that Trump authorized, or was even aware of, the contacts" and that "there may not have been anything improper about the contacts.".....snip~

That's even worse, he wanted to hook our own computers into theirs in such a way that we couldn't get at OUR OWN information, and the Russians could still shoot viruses into us at their leisure.

Oh, and the Head of Homeland Security is a Trump appointee, and Trump appointees are expected to say whatever makes Trump look good first and foremost, as Trump himself has been making abundantly clear to anyone with brains to see for the past 6 months now
