Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, L.A., San Diego -- they're all being increasingly "squatted upon" by crowds of "homeless campers". Result? Mountains of garbage, unruly public drunkenness and panhandling, drugs, needles, urine, and human sh*t.

Why can't the local governments do ANYTHING that really focuses on getting these creatures out of their cities? The ACLU, liberal judges, and, of course, bleeding-heart liberals in the city and county governments themselves.

Oh, and we see more and more of it in my home state of Colorado, too -- Denver is THICK with homeless bums by nearly every creek and stream bed, and lined up in the city parks. THIS, more than anything else, is the legacy of the Obama years -- the creation of legion hordes of worthless people who just decided to live off of government, its taxpayers, and to seek protection and sponsorship from liberal legal groups and welfare programs....

    [IMG] Thanks, Obama!

And exactly WHO was president when all this wretched homeless blight in our cities surged so dramatically?

Now, add to that the fact that liberal Democrats have done nothing but fight Donald Trump like a rabid pack of mad dogs ever since he came into the White House. So, NO, in his 'spare time' he hasn't been able to curb liberal judges, the ACLU, or local hyperliberal municipal bureaucracies that encourage, permit, and abet the invasion of American cities by hordes of irresponsible homeless bums.

Question -- can you name one likely contender as a Democrat presidential candidate who would be willing to flush this ruinous crap out of our cities? Just ONE?

Why are you blaming Obama for the Great Recession he's inherited?

You've become more and more partisan and less objective.

It's what happens when you get your worldview from Fox News.

I didn't blame a so-called "Great Recession", Iriemon. I'm blaming a section of society that has refused to use abundantly generous welfare handouts from eight years of the Obama regime to improve themselves and move on in new lives like many others have done. The fact that this is reported by Fox News doesn't make it inaccurate....

No, instead of enjoying participating in the huge hiring binge going on in the economy now, most of these 'homeless campers' have simply grown used to being drunk and stoned out of their minds for years, while living like animals. I wouldn't even mind that if it weren't for the fact that they turn every place to they go into more piles of trash, disease, feces, aggressive panhandling, and pools of urine. They can throw their own lives away if they want to, but they don't have the right to turn our cities into dangerous hell-holes. If it weren't for the ACLU, liberal judges, and liberals in government, this would NOT be allowed to happen!

I frequent up and down the northwest coast for my job, and can attest that the homeless problem is epidemic. Every overpass, bridge, greenbelt, freeway divider, nook and cranny is packed with tents and tarps and sleeping bags and mountains of garbage from the homeless.

The question is: where should they go instead?

Obama? Rather the downside of savage capitalism; Poverty, mental illness and exclusion.

Capitalism eats human beings, and excrete what you just pictured up there. Obama didn't invent anything.

Not sure what that has to do with anything. If Trump is taking and being given credit for the economy, then he must take and give on this also.

This is just another b!tch session thread from the OP. Note, the image he used is not in the article, and as always shows their character by blaming a Democrat, in this case Obama for the homeless.

The homeless are not looking for self sufficiency. Theres 'plenty of wide open spaces' in WA if they were seaking to live off the land. Seattle is about an hours bus ride ($30) or a few days hike from vast tracks of federal land where one can literally do whatever they want wherever they want. The homeless gravitate to the urban centers. Even if you forcibly relocated them (which is a violation of civil rights btw) to 'open spaces' they wouldn't stay there.

The image is accurate. Drive through Seattle and Portland and you will see whats depicted in the OP ad nauseum, regardless of the route you take.

So you want to declare eminent domain on private property in Texas and hand that property over to homeless people from cities?

i am certainly not questioning the image used in the thread, just the reason why a separate is necessary let alone the op blaming the existance of homeless on obama.

And, unfortunately, it is also accurate for Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Pueblo -- all up and down the "Front Range" of Colorado. Why? We're becoming a liberal Democrat-majority state, where marijuana is legal.

I voted FOR legalization of MJ for the increased tax revenue that sale of the stuff would bring to Colorado -- but I never figured it would bring thousands of worthless "homeless campers" with it. But, it did; Now the ACLU strikes down any attempt that local governments make to get rid of these bums -- when the local governments even bother to try. In lib-infested 'communes' like Boulder and Denver, the local government doesn't even really try.... THAT'S what you get when you elect liberal Democrats -- homeless bums and all their disease, crime, and filth....

BTW, we're having one hell of a very serious drought in Colorado -- and guess who is starting the big majority of the fires that occur here nearly every day...? Ask ANY law enforcement officer what the problem is!

Oh? We shouldn't blame Obama? Well, how many of these diseased, panhandling bums did we have all over our cities when "W" Bush was president? I'm NO fan of Bush, but the question is valid.

Think: Yeah, there was a recession, which all the Obama-loving experts told us ENDED in June of 2009. So, here we are, NINE YEARS LATER, with this hideous, dangerous problem in our cities. And yet, bleeding-heart socialists in the Obama regime gave anybody who wanted it piles of extra welfare in many forms, including LOTS of extra unemployment benefits.

Today, the economy is better, whether we give Donald Trump credit for it or not. The unemployment rate is 4.1%. Think about that! And yet, we've got this swelling population of panhandling, filthy, drunken, drug-addicted bums crapping up our cities. WHY? And under whose reign did this get started?!

FYI, the homeless have been around a wee bit longer than the day Obama took office. BTW, if you actually take a look at my posts, I have always gave a liking to good economic news regardless of who the Pres is. You get into twists if someone doesn't praise Trump.

You started a thread last year about IBM and their statement of 25k new jobs, where are they??? I want those new jobs, you immedaitely gave credit to Trump, those jobs are not there, and I always keep my resume up-to-date, just in case of any opportunity. Here is something about IBM and their jobs..., should I blame Trump??

Heck of a lot easier for you to give advice then you are willing to take it!!!!
